Notice Declaring Quarantine Area at Te Kohanga, Tuakau (No. 992 Ag 70072)

NOTICE is hereby given that, for the purpose of detention of imported pigs under the Animals Act 1967, the land and premises described in the Schedule below are hereby declared to be a quarantine area from 27 November 1974 to 26 December 1974.

SCHEDULE

ALL that parcel of land containing 77 acres, more or less, being Deposited Plan Lot 99N, Section 6, Parish of Onewhero, and being all of the land comprised and described in certificate of title, Volume 286, folio 274, South Auckland Land Registry.

Notice of Approval of Bylaws

PURSUANT to section 165 of the Harbours Act 1950, I, Peter Edward Muers of the Ministry of Transport, in exercise of powers delegated by the Minister of Transport hereby approve the Ohope Domain Board Bylaw No. 1, 1974, as adopted at a meeting of the Ohope Domain Board on 27 October 1974.

Revoking the Appointment of an Honorary Launch Warden

PURSUANT to section 7 of the Harbours Act 1950, I, Peter Edward Muers of the Ministry of Transport, in exercise of powers delegated by the Minister of Transport hereby revoke the appointment* of

Stanley Albert Gleadow

as an honorary launch warden for purposes of the Harbours Act 1950.

The Motor Launch (Manawatu River) Notice 1974, Manawatu Catchment Board

PURSUANT to the Motor Launch Regulations 1962*, I, Peter Edward Muers of the Ministry of Transport, in exercise of powers delegated by the Minister of Transport hereby give the following notice:

  1. (a) This notice may be cited as the Motor Launch (Manawatu River) Notice 1974.

(b) This notice shall come into force on the date of its publication in the Gazette.

  1. Subject to the conditions set forth in the Fourth Schedule hereto, the areas described in the First, Second, and Third Schedules hereto shall be exempted from the regulations specified in the Schedules for a period of 1 year, excepting thereout 1 week prior to the duck shooting season and the first week of that season.

FIRST SCHEDULE

ALL that area of water in the Manawatu River from the lower end of the Whirikino Cut to the river mouth except within 200 feet of the water's edge at the river banks shall be exempted from regulations 11 (b) and 11 (c) of the Motor Launch Regulations 1962.

SECOND SCHEDULE

ALL that area of water in the Manawatu River from the Whirikino Trestle Bridge to a point marked with a notice board approximately 1 1/2 miles upstream shall be exempted from regulation 11 (b) and 11 (c), 12 (b) and 12 (c) of the Motor Launch Regulations 1962.

THIRD SCHEDULE

ALL that area of water in the Manawatu River from the Whirikino Trestle Bridge to a point marked with a notice board 1/2 mile downstream shall be a reserved area for water ski-ing, pursuant to regulation 14 of the Motor Launch Regulations 1962.

FOURTH SCHEDULE

CONDITIONS

SUITABLE notices, as may be approved from time to time by the Regional Marine Officer at Wellington, shall be erected at the limits of the areas described in the Schedules to this notice.

Licensing Mate Farac to Occupy a Site for a Jetty in the Awaroa Stream at Helensville

PURSUANT to section 162 of the Harbours Act 1950, I, Peter Edward Muers of the Ministry of Transport, in exercise of powers delegated by the Minister of Transport, hereby license and permit Mate Farac (hereinafter called the licensee, which term shall include his administrators, executors, or assigns, unless the context requires a different construction) to use and occupy a part of the foreshore and bed of the Awaroa Stream at Helensville, as shown on plan marked M.D. 15415 and deposited in the office of the Minister of Transport at Wellington, for the purpose of maintaining thereon a jetty as shown on the said plan, such licence to be held and enjoyed by the licensee upon and subject to the terms and conditions set forth in the Schedule hereto.

SCHEDULE

CONDITIONS

(1) This licence is subject to the Foreshore Licence Regulations 1960 and the provisions of those regulations shall, so far as applicable, apply hereto.

(2) The term of the licence shall be 14 years from the 1st day of December 1974.

(3) The premium payable by the licensee shall be twenty dollars ($20) and the annual sum so payable by the licensee shall be twenty dollars ($20); provided always that the Minister may review the annual sum payable at the end of the first year or any subsequent year of the said term.
