in the City of Nelson, being part Lot 4, D.P. 6308, City of
Nelson; as shown on plan M.O.W. 28114 (S.O. 11775)
deposited in the office of the Minister of Works and Development at Wellington and thereon marked "B".

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General and issued under the Seal of New Zealand this
27th day of November 1974.

Land Taken for the Purpose of a Parking Place in the City of Nelson

DENIS BLUNDELL, Governor-General

A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Sir Edward
Denis Blundell, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby
proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule
hereto is hereby taken for the purpose of a parking place
and shall vest in the Mayor, Councillors, and Citizens of the
City of Nelson as from the date hereinafter mentioned;
and I also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect
on and after the 5th day of December 1974.

SCHEDULE

NELSON LAND DISTRICT

ALL those pieces of land situated in the City of Nelson
and described as follows:

87 Part Section 163, City of Nelson, marked "A" on plan.
1803 Part Lot 2, D.P. 2700 and all of the land in D.P. 4380, City of Nelson, marked "B" on plan.

As shown on plan M.O.W. 28113 (S.O. 11789) deposited
in the office of the Minister of Works and Development at
Wellington and thereon marked as above mentioned.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General and issued under the Seal of New Zealand

Authorising the Construction of a Motorway in the City of Invercargill and Southland County

ORDER IN COUNCIL

At the Government Buildings at Wellington this 2nd day of
December 1974

Present:
THE RIGHT HON. W. E. ROWLING PRESIDING IN COUNCIL

PURSUANT to section 3 of the Public Works Amendment
Act 1947, His Excellency the Governor-General, at the request
of the National Roads Board, and acting by and with the
advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby authorises the construction of a motorway, to be known as the
Invercargill Motorway, commencing in North Road, Southland County, near its crossing of Waikiwi Stream, and extending in a generally southerly direction to a point west of
Grace Street in the City of Invercargill from where it continues in two sections, one extending in a south-easterly
direction to the intersection of Scott Street and Brown Street
and the other in a southerly direction to Bluff Road near
its intersection with Kew Road.

PURSUANT to the Agricultural Pests Destruction Act 1967,
His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with
the advice and consent of the Executive Council hereby
makes the following order.

ORDER

  1. (1) This order may be cited as the Amuri and Otorohanga Pest Destruction Districts Pests of Local Importance
    Order 1974.

(2) This order shall come into force on the day after
the date of its notification in the Gazette.

  1. (1) The opposum is hereby declared a pest of local
    importance in the Amuri and Otorohanga Pest Destruction
    Districts.

(2) The hare is hereby declared a pest of local importance
in the Amuri Pest Destruction District.

THE RIGHT HON. W. E. ROWLING PRESIDING IN COUNCIL

PURSUANT to the Hydatids Act 1968, His Excellency the
Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent
of the Executive Council hereby makes the following order.

ORDER

  1. (1) This order may be cited as the Hawke's Bay County
    Hydatids Control District Order 1974.

(2) This order shall come into force on the day after
the date of its notification in the Gazette.

  1. The area comprising the Hawke's Bay County as from
    time to time constituted is hereby declared to be an hydatids
    control district to be called the Hawke's Bay County Hydatids
    Control District.

  2. The Hawke's Bay County Council is hereby appointed
    the hydatids control authority for the Hawke's Bay County
    Hydatids Control District.
