MANUKAU CITY COUNCIL
NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND FOR PUBLIC STREET
IN the matter of the Municipal Corporations Act 1954 and
the Public Works Act 1928:
NOTICE is hereby given that the Manukau City Council
requires and intends under the provisions of the above-
mentioned Acts to take in the manner provided by the Public
Works Act 1928 for public street the piece of land described
in the Schedule hereto, such land to be used for the general
purpose of increasing the width of an existing street in the
City district, namely Wiri Station Road; and notice is hereby
further given that a plan showing the piece of land so
required to be taken is deposited at the public office of the
said Council, at David Nathan Park, Hill Road, Manurewa,
and is there open for inspection without fee, by all persons
during the ordinary office hours; and notice is further given
that every person directly affected by the taking of the said
land is hereby called upon to set forth in writing any objec-
tion he may wish to make to the taking of the said land,
not being an objection to the amount or payment of com-
pensation, and to send the written objection within 40 days
from the first publication of this notice to the Town and
Country Planning Appeal Board, 32 Mulgrave Street, Welling-
ton (P.O. Box 12-244, Wellington North).
If any objection is made in accordance with paragraph (d)
of subsection (1) of section 22 of the Public Works Act
1928 (as substituted by section 6 of the Public Works Amend-
ment Act 1973) a public hearing of the objection will be
held unless the objector otherwise requires, and each objector
will be advised of the time and place of the hearing.

ALL that piece of land containing 888 square metres, more
or less, situated in the City of Manukau, being the part of
the land situated in the Parish of Papakura, being part of
Clendon's Grant, comprised and described in certificate of

which is shown on Survey Office Plan No. 49729.

NOTICE is hereby given that the Clifton County Council pro-
poses under the provisions of the Public Works Act 1928,
to take for road the land described in the Schedule hereto
such land to be used for deviating an existing road; and
notice is hereby further given that the plan of the land so
required to be taken is deposited at the office of the Clifton
County Council in Domett Street, Waitara, and is there open
for inspection; that all persons directly affected by the taking
of the said land should, if they have any objections to the
taking of the said land, not being an objection to the amount
or payment of compensation, make a written objection and
send it within 40 days after the first publication of this notice
to the Clifton County Council at its office aforesaid; and that,
if any objection is made in accordance with this notice, a
public hearing of the objection will be held unless the
objector otherwise requires, and each objector will be advised
of the time and place of the hearing.

thereon coloured sepia.
(b) That piece of land containing 1 rood and 7 perches,
more or less, being part Section 18, Block V, Upper Waitara
Survey District, as shown on S.O. Plan 10402 and thereon
coloured yellow.
The said pieces of land are situated on Kaiwaru Road,
approximately 5.4 miles from State Highway 3.
