Crown Land Set Apart for a Limited Access Road in Block
XI, Puketi Survey District, Taupo County

A PROCLAMATION
PURSUANT to section 4 of the Public Works Amendment Act
1963, I, Sir Edward Denis Blundell, the Governor-General
of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the land
described in the Schedule hereto is hereby set apart for a
limited access road; and I also declare that this Proclamation
shall take effect on and after the 21st day of November 1974.
SCHEDULE
WELLINGTON LAND DISTRICT
ALL that piece of land containing 3620 square metres, being
part Section 2, Block XI, Puketi Survey District; as shown
on plan M.O.W. 28085 (S.O. 30089) deposited in the office
of the Minister of Works and Development at Wellington.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-
General, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand,
this 12th day of November 1974.

At the Government Buildings at Wellington this 11th day of
November 1974

THE RIGHT HON. W. E. ROWLING PRESIDING IN COUNCIL
PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, His Excellency the
Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent
of the Executive Council, hereby directs the sale of the land
described in the Schedule hereto, such land being no longer
required for the purpose for which it was acquired.

ALL that piece of land containing 3.8 perches (96 square
metres) situated in Block VII, Port Nicholson Survey District,
City of Wellington, being part Lot 31, D.P. 1109; as shown
on plan M.O.W. 28211 (S.O. 28114) deposited in the office
of the Minister of Works and Development at Wellington
and thereon coloured orange.

Commission of Inquiry Into Certain Allegations

ORDER IN COUNCIL
To all to whom these presents shall come, and to:
RONALD KEITH DAVISON, of Auckland, one of Her Majesty's
Counsel:
GREETING:
WHEREAS it is considered expedient that inquiry should be
made into certain allegations of intimidation of union members
and matters incidental thereto:
Now, therefore, pursuant to the Commissions of Inquiry
Act 1908, I, Sir Edward Denis Blundell, the Governor-General
of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent
of the Executive Council, hereby appoint you, the said Ronald
Keith Davison, to be a Commission to inquire into and
report upon the following matters:

  1. Allegations contained in a copy of an unsigned letter,
    and dated only "1974", addressed to "Mr J. J. Crummey,
    Secretary, 8-12 St. Martins Lane, Auckland 1" (a copy of
    which is set out in the Schedule hereto) and which was also
    attached to a letter signed by the Honourable J. B. Gordon,
    M.P., dated 14.8.74, addressed to the Honourable Hugh Watt
    and marked "CONFIDENTIAL AND PERSONAL", such
    restriction being orally lifted by the Honourable J. B. Gordon,
    M.P., some weeks later.
  2. Any matters that the Commission considers are necessary
    to elucidate and explain the contents of the said first-mentioned
    letter.
  3. Any matters that in the opinion of the Commission arise
    out of or are associated with the said first-mentioned letter
    and warrant such inquiry and report:
