WAITAKI COUNTY COUNCIL
NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND FOR ROAD UNDER THE
PUBLIC WORKS ACT 1928

IN the matter of the Counties Act 1954 and in the matter
of the Public Works Act 1928 and its amendments:
NOTICE is hereby given that the Waitaki County Council
proposes under the provisions of the above-mentioned Acts
to execute a certain public work, namely, the widening of
the Waiareka-Ngapara-Duntroon Road and McNally Road
and for the purposes of such public work the parcel of land
described in the Schedule hereto is required to be taken for
the widening of the said road. And notice is hereby further
given that a plan of the land so required to be taken is
deposited in the public offices of the Waitaki County Council
situate in Thames Street, Oamaru, and is open for inspec-
tion without fee by all persons during ordinary office hours.
All persons affected by the execution of the said public
work or by the taking of such land who have any well
grounded objections to the execution of the said public work
or to the taking of the said land must state their objec-
tions in writing and send the same within 40 days
of the first publication of this notice, namely, 7 November
1974, to the Secretary, Town and Country Planning Appeal
Board, P.O. Box 12047, Wellington North. Any objector may
request public hearing of his objection at a time and place
of which he will be notified.

TE PUKE BOROUGH COUNCIL
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

Housing Loan (Elderly Persons) 1974—$21,000

PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the
Te Puke Borough Council hereby resolves as follows:

That for the purpose of providing the annual charges on
the Housing (Elderly Persons) Loan 1974—$21,000, authorised
to be raised by the Te Puke Borough Council under the above-
mentioned Act for the purpose of erecting housing for elderly
persons, the said Te Puke Borough Council hereby makes a
special rate of decimal nought nought nought one nought three
(0.000103) of one cent in the dollar upon the rateable property
in the Borough of Te Puke; and the special rate shall be
an annually recurring rate during the currency of the loan
and payable yearly on the 15th day of November in each and
every year during the currency of the loan being a period
of forty (40) years, or until the loan is fully repaid.

The above-mentioned resolution was passed at a meeting
of the Te Puke Borough Council held on the 29th day of
October 1974.

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

Water Supply Loan No. 4, 1974—$26,017

PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the
Te Puke Borough Council hereby resolves as follows:

That for the purpose of providing the annual charges on
the Water Supply Loan No. 4, 1974—$26,017, authorised to
be raised by the Te Puke Borough Council under the above-
mentioned Act for the purpose of carrying out mains extension
work with the object of improving water pressure and supply
in the upper Boucher Avenue area, the said Te Puke Borough
Council hereby makes a special rate of decimal nought nought
nought two nought four (0.000204) of one cent in the dollar
upon the rateable land value of all the rateable property in
the Borough of Te Puke; and the special rate shall be an
annually recurring rate during the currency of the loan and
payable yearly on the 15th day of November in each and
every year during the currency of the loan being a period
of thirty (30) years, or until the loan is fully repaid.

The above-mentioned resolution was passed at a meeting of
the Te Puke Borough Council held on the 29th day of
October 1974.

NOTICE is hereby given that application has been made by
Laurie Andersen, of Templeview, teacher, for consent to re-
erect on the under-mentioned property a dwelling house
presently situated at 15 O’Neill Street, Hamilton. The
property in respect of which this application is made is
situated at McKay Drive, Templeview, and the legal descrip-
tion is 1 rood and 1.4 perches, more or less, being Lot 85
on Deposited Plan No. S7933, being part of Allotment 92,
of the Parish of Tuhikaramea, and being part of the land
in certificate of title, Volume 2B, folio 777 (South Auckland
Registry).

The application may be examined at the office of the
Waipa County Council, 19 Bank Street, Te Awamutu, during
normal office hours and any person or body affected may
object to the application by notice in writing to the County
