“The David Whittock Bed” for the general purposes
of such of the Board’s Hospitals at Dunedin as
the Board may from time to time select;
(d) That the bequests of Mark Cohen, Christina Archment
Watson and William Charles Owen for the radium
fund at Dunedin Hospital be paid to the University
of Otago for clinical cancer research at the Medical
School;
(e) That the Otago Savings Bank Endowment Fund and
the endowment be used both as regards capital and
income for the general purposes of such of the
Board’s institutions as the Board may from time
to time decide upon.
The Board has applied to the Supreme Court at Dunedin
for its approval of the said schemes and the date for the
hearing of this application is the 6th day of December 1974
at 10 a.m. The application, schemes and the aforesaid reports
are open for inspection by the public at the office of the
said registrar without fee or charge. Any person desiring
to oppose the said schemes or any of them must give written
notice of his intention to do so to the said registrar and
to the chief executive of the Otago Hospital Board and
to the Attorney General not less than 7 clear days before
the aforesaid date of hearing.

WHANGAREI COUNTY COUNCIL
NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND FOR ROAD
NOTICE is hereby given that the Whangarei County Council
intends under the provisions of the Counties Act 1956 to
execute a certain work, namely a road and for the purposes
of such work the land described in the Schedule hereto is
required to be taken pursuant to the Public Works Act 1928.
And notice is further given that a plan showing the said
land is deposited at the office of the council situated at Springs
Flat, Kamo, and may there be inspected without fee by all
persons during ordinary office hours.
All persons affected by the said work or by taking of the
said land and who have an objection thereto, not being an
objection as to the amount of payment of compensation,
must state their objections in writing and send the same to
the Secretary, Town and Country Planning Appeal Board,
P.O. Box 12244, Wellington North so as to reach him not
later than 17 December being 40 days after the first publication
of this notice. If any objection is received a public
hearing of the same will be held unless the objector otherwise
requires, and each objector will be advised of the time and
place of such hearing.

NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND
NOTICE is hereby given that the Chairman, Councillors, and
Inhabitants of the County of Paparua propose, under the
provisions of the Public Works Act 1928, to execute certain
public works, namely, the acquisition of land for housing,
roading and a reserve and recreational purposes, and for
the purpose of such public works the land described in the
Schedule hereto is required to be taken; and notice is hereby
further given that a plan of the land so required to be taken
is deposited in the offices of the Paparua County Council
at 149 Main South Road, Sockburn, Christchurch, and is
there open for inspection. All persons affected by the execution
of the said public works or by the taking of the said
land should, if they have any objection to the execution
of the said public works or to the taking of the said land,
not being objections to the amount or payment of compensation, set forth such objections in writing and send the
same within 40 days of the first publication of this notice
to the Town and Country Planning Appeal Board, P.O. Box
12-244, Wellington North. If any objection is made in accordance with this notice a public hearing of the objection will
be held, unless the objector otherwise requires, and each
objector will be advised of the time and place of the hearing.

NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND FOR ROAD UNDER THE
PUBLIC WORKS ACT 1928
IN the matter of the Counties Act 1954 and in the matter
of the Public Works Act 1928 and its amendments:
NOTICE is hereby given that the Waitaki County Council
proposes under the provisions of the above-mentioned Acts
to execute a certain public work, namely, the widening of the
Waiareka-Ngapara-Duntroon Road and for the purposes of
such public work the parcel of land described in the Schedule
hereto is required to be taken for the widening of the said
road. And notice is hereby further given that a plan of the
land so required to be taken is deposited in the public offices
of the Waitaki County Council situate in Thames Street,
Oamaru, and is open for inspection without fee by all persons
during ordinary office hours. All persons affected by the
execution of the said public work or by the taking of such
land who have any well grounded objection to the execution
of the said public work or to the taking of the said
land must state their objections in writing and send them
the same within 40 days of the first publication of this
notice, namely, 7 November 1974, to the Secretary, Town

Wellington North. Any objector may request public hearing
