Consenting to Raising of Loans by Certain Local Authorities
PURSUANT to section 3 of the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956 (as amended by section 3 (1) of the Local Authorities Loans Amendment Act 1967), the undersigned Assistant Secretary to the Treasury, acting under powers delegated to the Secretary to the Treasury by the Minister of Finance, hereby consents to the borrowing by the local authorities mentioned in the Schedule hereto of the whole or any part of the respective amounts specified in that Schedule.

In the Matter of the Insurance Companies Deposits Act 1953
BRAZIER AGER & ASSOCIATES of Christchurch, registered insurance brokers, have given notice to the Public Trustee that they have ceased to carry on business in New Zealand as agents of Commonwealth Underwriters in respect of Class 4 insurance business, and that they propose to withdraw the deposit made with the Public Trustee pursuant to section 3 of the above-mentioned Act.
The Public Trustee therefore gives notice pursuant to section 19 (3) of the above-mentioned Act that, subject to his being satisfied that all the liabilities of Brazier Ager & Associates in New Zealand in respect of Class 4 insurance business have been fully liquidated or provided for, he proposes to release to Brazier Ager & Associates, on or after 6 December 1974, the deposit made with him by Brazier Ager & Associates.
Any objection to the release of the deposit should be lodged with the Public Trustee at the Public Trust Office, Lambton Quay, Wellington 1, on or before 29 November 1974.

The Standards Act 1965—Standard Specifications Proposed for Revocation
NOTICE is hereby given that the New Zealand standard specifications listed in the Schedule hereto have been reviewed by committees of the Standards Council and have been recommended for revocation pursuant to the provisions of the Standards Act 1965.
Any person who may be affected by the proposal to revoke these standard specifications, and who wishes to object to their revocation, is invited to submit comments to the Standards Association of New Zealand, Private Bag, Wellington, not later than 5 December 1974.

The Standards Act 1965—Draft New Zealand Standard Specifications Available for Comment
PURSUANT to subsection (3) of section 23 of the Standards Act 1965, notice is hereby given that the following draft New Zealand standard specifications are being circulated:

DZ 3403 Hot-dip galvanized corrugated or profiled steel sheet. (Superseding NZS 1343 in part.) Metric units.
DZ 3441 Hot-dip galvanized plain sheet and strip. (Revision of NZS 3441P.) Metric units.
All persons who may be affected by these specifications and who may desire to comment thereon may, upon application, obtain a copy of each on loan from the Standards Association of New Zealand, World Trade Center, 15–23 Sturdee Street (or Private Bag), Wellington. Additional copies are obtainable at 50c a copy from the same address.
The closing date for the receipt of comment is 31 January 1975.
