A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Sir Edward Denis Blundell, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for road and shall vest in the Chairman, Councillors, and Inhabitants of the County of Raglan, as from the date hereinafter mentioned; and I also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the 14th day of November 1974.

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Sir Edward Denis Blundell, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for sanitary works and shall vest in the Chairman, Councillors, and Inhabitants of the County of Raglan as from the date hereinafter mentioned; and I also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the 14th day of November 1974.

A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Sir Edward Denis Blundell, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the entirety of the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for State housing purposes, and that, notwithstanding section 19 of the Public Works Act 1928, no part of the said land shall be deemed to be excepted out of this Proclamation; and I also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the 14th day of November 1974.

Appointment of New Members of the Local Government Commission and Extension of Term of a Member

PURSUANT to the Local Government Act 1974, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby appoints:

Durham Robert Dowell, of Christchurch, and Henry Francis Miller, M.B.E., of Russell

to be members of the Local Government Commission on the 1st day of December 1974 for a term expiring on the 1st day of December 1979; and hereby reappoints:

David John Boswell, of Wanganui

to be a member of the Local Government Commission for a term expiring on the 1st of February 1979, notwithstanding that his present term will not expire until the 31st day of January 1977.
