SCHEDULE

ALL those pieces of land containing together 2314 acres 2 roods 26.5 perches, more or less, situate in the Paekakariki Survey District being—

First: Sections 2 and 3 of Block VII of the said Survey District, as shown on Deposited Plan No. 610 and—

Secondly: Sections 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10 and 11, Block VII, and part of Sections 24A, 28 and 29, Block X, being also Lots 3, 4 and 10 on Deposited Plan 8106 and—

Thirdly: Sections 9, 10, 55, 56 and parts 57, 58 and 59, Horokiwi Valley District, in Blocks VI, VII, IX and X, being also Lots 1 and 2 on Deposited Plan 24667, the pieces of land first, secondly and thirdly above described being parts of the land contained in certificate of title, Volume B1, folio 1461 (Wellington Registry), and—

Fourthly: Section 12 of Deposited Plan 610, being all the land contained in certificate of title, Volume 86, folio 16 (Wellington Registry).

All the said pieces of land being situated in the vicinity of Bulls Run Road and Cook Road as shown outlined in green on the plans annexed hereto and open for inspection as above set out.

WAITAKI COUNTY COUNCIL

NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND FOR ROAD UNDER THE PUBLIC WORKS ACT 1928

IN the matter of the Counties Act 1954, and in the matter of the Public Works Act 1928 and its amendments:

NOTICE is hereby given that the Waitaki County Council proposes under the provisions of the above-mentioned Acts to execute a certain public work, namely, the formation of Gard's Road, and for the purposes of such public work the parcel of land described in the Schedule hereto is required to be taken for the formation of the said road, and notice is hereby further given that a plan of the land, so required to be taken, is deposited in the public office of the Waitaki County Council, situate in Thames Street, Oamaru, and is open for inspection without fee by all persons during ordinary office hours.

All persons affected by the execution of the said public work or by the taking of such land, who have any well grounded objections to the execution of the said public work or to the taking of the said land, must state their objections in writing, and send the same within 40 days from the first publication of this notice, namely, 7 February 1974, to the County Clerk at the Council Chambers, Thames Street, Oamaru.

LAW PRACTITIONERS ACT 1955

PURSUANT to the Law Practitioners Act 1955, notice is hereby given that the Disciplinary Committee of the New Zealand Law Society, on the 13th day of December 1973, ordered that Peter John McKinlay, of Lower Hutt, barrister and solicitor, be suspended from practice as a barrister and solicitor for a period of 1 year and that he pay to the New Zealand Law Society by way of penalty the sum of two hundred and fifty dollars ($250.00) and by way of costs the sum of seven hundred and fifty dollars ($750.00).
