Agricultural Purposes (Animal Research Station) in the
City of Upper Hutt

PURSUANT to section 32 of the Public Works Act 1928, the
Minister of Works and Development hereby declares that,
a sufficient agreement to that effect having been entered into,
the land described in the First Schedule hereto is hereby
taken for agricultural purposes (animal research station) and
the leasehold estate in the land described in the Second
Schedule hereto, held by Malcolm Borthwick Browne, of
Kaitoke, farmer, under and by virtue of Memorandum of
Lease No. 945840 recorded in certificate of title No. 11D/204,
Wellington Land Registry, is hereby taken for agricultural
purposes (animal research station) from and after the 24th day
of October 1974.
