MARLBOROUGH CATCHMENT BOARD
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
Pelorus Valley Scheme Works Loan 1972, $5,000
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it by the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956 and the Soil Conservation and Rivers Control Act 1941, and all other powers in that behalf enabling the Marlborough Catchment Board hereby resolves as follows:
"That for the purpose of providing security for the payment of principal and interest on a loan of $5,000, authorised to be raised by the Marlborough Catchment Board under the above-mentioned Acts for the purpose of providing part of the local share at cost of scheme works under the Pelorus Valley Scheme, the said board hereby makes a special rate as set out in the Schedule hereto upon the rateable capital value of all rateable property in the Pelorus Valley Special Rating District as defined in the classification list for the Pelorus Valley Scheme.
SCHEDULE
Class A land: $0.504 per acre.
Class B land: $0.378 per acre.
Class C land: $0.252 per acre.
Class D land: $0.151 per acre.
Class E land: $0.076 per acre.
Class F land: $0.025 per acre.
I hereby certify that the above resolution was duly passed at the meeting of the Marlborough Catchment Board held on the 9th day of July 1974.

EASTWOODHILL TRUST BILL
NOTICE OF PRIVATE BILL
NOTICE is hereby given that Heathcote Beetham Williams, of Turihaua near Gisborne, sheepfarmer, intends to apply to the House of Representatives for leave to bring in the abovementioned Bill.
The objects of the Bill are to ensure the maintenance and development of the property at Rere containing 323 acres 3 roods 04.1 perches, more or less, and more popularly known as Eastwoodhill, as an arboretum, by establishing a constitution suitable for that purpose.
A copy of the Bill may be inspected at the offices of Messrs Nolan & Skeet, 46 Childers Road, Gisborne, solicitors for the promoter Mr. H. B. Williams, to which office communications or notices to the promoter may be sent.

In the matter of the Companies Act 1955, and in the matter of MacGIBBON'S BUILDINGS LTD., a duly incorporated company having its registered office at Christchurch:
NOTICE is hereby given that the Order of the Supreme Court dated the 10th day of September 1974 confirming the reduction of capital of the above-named company from $150,000 to $10,000, and the minute approved by the Court showing with respect to the capital of the company as altered the several particulars required by the above statute was registered by the Registrar of Companies on the 2nd day of October 1974.

MacGIBBONS BUILDINGS LTD.
I, Lynn Austin Saunders, Assistant Registrar of Companies, hereby gives notice that a Court Order dated 10 September 1974 confirmed the following minute of reduction in the capital of MacGibbons Buildings Ltd. and that such Court Order and minute were duly registered on 2 October 1974.
"The capital of MacGibbons Buildings Ltd. is $10,000 divided into 5,000 fully paid ordinary shares of $2 each having been reduced from $150,000 divided 75,000 ordinary shares of $2 each fully paid up."

Single copies available as issued.
The price of each Gazette varies and is printed thereon.
The New Zealand Gazette is published on Thursday evening of each week, and notices for insertion must be received by the Government Printer before 12 o'clock of the day preceding publication.
Advertisements are charged at the rate of 10c per line.
The number of insertions required must be written across the face of the advertisement.
All advertisements should be written on one side of the paper, and signatures, etc., should be written in a legible hand.

STATUTORY REGULATIONS
Under the Regulations Act 1936, statutory regulations of general legislative force are no longer published in the New Zealand Gazette, but are supplied under any one or more of the following arrangements:
(1) All regulations serially as issued (punched for filing), subscription $12 per calendar year in advance.
(2) Annual Volume (including index) bound in buckram, $5 per volume. (Volumes for years 1936-37 and 1939-42 are out of print.)
(3) Separate regulations as issued.
The price of each regulation is printed thereon.
