NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND
IN the matter of the Public Works Act 1928:
NOTICE is hereby given that the Auckland City Council proposes under the provisions of the above-mentioned Act, to execute a certain public work namely, the construction of a street and for the purpose of such public work, the fee simple estate in the land described in the Schedule hereto is required to be taken, and notice is hereby further given that a plan of the land in respect of which the interest above described is so required to be taken is deposited in the public office of the Town Planning Department, Civic Administration Building, Civic Centre, Auckland, and is open for public inspection without fee by all persons during ordinary office hours.
Every person affected who wishes to make any objection to the execution of the said public work or to the taking of the said interest in the said land (not being an objection to the amount or payment of compensation) must state his objection in writing and send the same within 40 days from the first publication of this notice to the Town and Country Planning Appeal Board, Wellington.
If any objection is made a public hearing of the objection will be held, unless the objector otherwise requires, and each objector will be advised of the time and place of the hearing.

ALL that piece of land containing 4 square metres, being part of Lot 2, D.P. 17498, and being portion of Allotment 69, of Section 16, of the Suburbs of Auckland, and being the residue of the land comprised in certificate of title, Volume 410, folio 163, North Auckland Land Registry, and being situated on the corner of Victoria Avenue and Tirohanga Avenue, Remuera, Auckland.

NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND IN TOWN OF CAMBRIDGE EAST FOR RECREATION RESERVE
NOTICE is hereby given that the Cambridge Borough Council proposes under the provisions of the Public Works Act 1928, to take for recreation reserve the land described in the Schedule hereto, such land to be used for further development of the swimming pool complex. And notice is hereby further given that the plan of the land so required to be taken is deposited in the Borough Council Offices, at Lake Street, Cambridge, and is there open for inspection; that all persons directly affected by the taking of the said land should, if they have any objections to the taking of the said land, not being an objection to the amount or payment of compensation, make a written objection and send it within 40 days after the first publication of this notice to the Town and Country Planning Appeal Board at Wellington, and that if any objection is made in accordance with this notice, a public hearing of the objection will be held, unless the objector otherwise requires, and each objector will be advised of the time and place of the hearing.

One acre and 19 perches, more or less, being Allotment 5, Town of Cambridge East, and being all of the land comprised in certificate of title, Volume 1051, folio 125, South Auckland Registry, subject to the reservations imposed by section 3, Coal Mines Amendment Act 1950, and subject to the reservations and conditions imposed by section 59 of the Land Act 1948.
The said pieces of land are situated in Dominion Avenue, Cambridge.

GOLDEN BAY ELECTRIC POWER BOARD
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
Reticulation Loan 1974, $120,000
PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Golden Bay Electric Power Board hereby resolved as follows:
That for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of $120,000, authorised to be raised by the Golden Bay Electric Power Board under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of extensions and alterations to supply in Golden Bay, the said Golden Bay Electric Power Board hereby makes a special rate of decimal one one two (0.112) cents in the dollar upon the rateable value of all rateable property of the Golden Bay Electric Power Board District, and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable yearly on the 31st day of March in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of 10 years, or until the loan is fully paid off.
I hereby certify that the above resolution was duly passed at a meeting of the Golden Bay Electric Power Board held on the 30th day of August 1974.
