BOUNDARIES OF THE UPPER WAIHAO WARD
ALL that area in the Canterbury Land District, Waimate County, containing 177,000 acres, more or less, bounded by a line commencing at the confluence of the Waitaki and Hakataramea Rivers and proceeding generally north-easterly up the middle of the Hakataramea River to a point in line with the middle of Peters Stream; thence north-easterly to and along the middle of that stream to and along the south-eastern boundary of Run 65 to the northernmost corner of Run 44; thence south-easterly generally along the north-eastern boundaries of Runs 44 and 47A and the eastern and southern boundaries of Run 47B to the summit of the Hunters Hills; thence southerly along the summit of the Hunters Hills to the southern boundary of Run 284; thence westerly along the southern boundary of that run and its production to the middle of the north branch of the Waihao River; thence north-westerly up the middle of that river to a point in line with the south-eastern boundary of Lot 1, D.P. 4080; thence south-westerly generally to and along that boundary and the generally south-eastern boundary of part Lot 1, D.P. 4082, and its production to the middle of Pentland Hills Road; thence north-westerly along the middle of that road and the southern side of Meyers Pass Road to the south-eastern boundary of Run 283; thence south-westerly generally along the generally south-eastern boundaries of runs 283 and 321 to the north-eastern boundary of Lot 3, D.P. 3451; thence south-easterly along that boundary and the south-western side of a road forming that boundary to the easternmost corner of that lot; thence south-westerly generally along the south-eastern boundaries of Lots 3, D.P. 3451, and 4, D.P. 3452, to the south-western boundary of Section 1, Block V, Elephant Hill Survey District; thence south-easterly generally along the south-western boundaries of the said Section 1 and Section 1, Block VI, Elephant Hill Survey District, to the north-western boundary of Rural Section 37557; thence south-westerly along that boundary and its production to the middle of the Waitaki River; thence north-westerly up the middle of the Waitaki River to the point of commencement.
BOUNDARIES OF THE OTEKAIKE WARD
ALL that area in the Otago Land District containing approximately 134,000 acres, and being parts of Kurow, Domet, Maruwenua, Kyeburn, and Kakanui Survey Districts, and bounded as follows: commencing at the junction of the Awakino River with the Waitaki River in Kurow Survey District; thence south-easterly along the centre of the Main Stream of the Waitaki River to the Junction of the Maruwenua River; thence south-westerly up the centre of the main stream of the Maruwenua River to the junction of its north and south branches; thence south-westerly up the centre of the south-branch of the Maruwenua River to the western boundary of Section 6, Block XVI, Maruwenua Survey District; thence northerly along that boundary to Trig. DD; thence westerly and south-westerly along the southern and south-eastern boundaries of Section 2, Block XI, Domet Survey District; thence south-westerly along the south-eastern boundaries of Section 1, Block II, Section 1, Block I, and Section 1, Block VIII, Kakanui Survey District, and Section 1, Block XIV, Kyeburn Survey District; thence north-westerly along the western boundaries of Section 1, Block XIV, and Section 1, Block XIII, to Mount Nobbler; thence generally northerly along the western boundary of Run 510 to Dansey Pass; thence generally northerly along the western boundaries of Runs 17A, 28E, and 28A to Mount Domet; thence north-westerly along the south-western boundaries of Runs 28 and 2 of 23; thence generally north-easterly along the north-western boundary of Run 2 of 23 to its northern boundary; thence down the centre of the Awakino River to the point of commencement.

This order may be cited as Price Order No. 2296, and shall be read together with and deemed part of Price Order No. 2293* (hereinafter referred to as the principal order).

This order shall come into force on the 18th day of October 1974.

Clause 6 of the Principal order is hereby amended by omitting from paragraph (a) the expression "18c" and substituting the expression "18.65c".
