A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Sir Edward Denis
Blundell, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby
proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule
hereto is hereby taken for road and shall vest in the Chair-
man, Councillors, and Inhabitants of the County of Bay of
Islands as from the date hereinafter mentioned; and I also
declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after
the 10th day of January 1974.

PURSUANT to the Agricultural Pests Destruction Act 1967,
His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with
the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby
makes the following order.

ORDER

1. (1) This order may be cited as the Local Agricultural
   Pest in Alexandra Pest Destruction District Order 1973.
   (2) This order shall come into force on the day after
   the date of its notification in the Gazette.

2. The hare (Lepus europaeus) is hereby declared a pest
   of local importance in the Alexandra Pest Destruction District.

PURSUANT to the Hydatids Act 1968, His Excellency the
Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent
of the Executive Council hereby makes the following order.

ORDER

1. (a) This order may be cited as the Waikouaiti Hydatids
   Control District Order 1973.
   (b) This order shall come into force on the day after
   the date of its notification in the Gazette.

2. The area comprising the County of Waikouaiti as from
   time to time constituted is hereby declared to be a hydatids
   control district to be called the Waikouaiti Hydatids Control
   District.

3. The Waikouaiti County Council is hereby appointed to
   be the hydatids control authority for the Waikouaiti Hydatids
   Control District.
