Okaihau College Board of Governors Notice 1973

PURSUANT to section 54 of the Education Act 1964, the Minister of Education hereby gives the following notice.

NOTICE

1. (1) This notice may be cited as the Okaihau College Board of Governors Notice 1973.
   (2) This notice shall come into force on the 1st day of December 1973.

2. The Board of Governors of Okaihau College shall be constituted as follows:
   (a) One member appointed by the Auckland Education Board;
   (b) Nine members elected by the parents of pupils attending the school;
   (c) One member co-opted by the Board if and when it thinks fit.

3. The Auckland Education Board shall cease to control Okaihau College and the sole control of that school shall be vested in the Board of Governors constituted by clause 2 of this notice.

Kapuni - New Plymouth Pipeline—Notice of Application

NOTICE is hereby given that pursuant to the provisions of the Petroleum Act 1937, the Natural Gas Corporation of New Zealand, has applied to the Minister of Mines for a pipeline authorisation to convey natural gas from Kapuni to New Plymouth power station passing through the various properties along a route now being flagged and already known to the property owners concerned.

The route is also shown on plans accompanying the application, copies of which are on view during the next 7 days at the Maui Pipeline Project Office, 14 Aitken Street, Wellington, and at the Residency Office of Ministry of Works Office, at New Plymouth.
