PURSUANT to section 18 of the Forests Act 1949, notice is hereby given that the land described in the Schedule hereto has been set apart as permanent State forest land as from the date of publication hereof.

THE following certificates have been executed on the sealed copies of the following bylaws:
Port Chalmers Borough Bylaw No. 9, 1973 (Fire Prevention);
Port Chalmers Borough Bylaw No. 11, 1973 (Removal of Refuse); and
Port Chalmers Borough Bylaw No. 12, 1973 (Apartment Buildings and Boarding Houses),
respectively, the three bylaws having been made by the Port Chalmers Borough Council on 16 April 1973.

Proposed Alteration of Boundaries of County of Lake and Borough of Queenstown
IT is hereby notified that a petition has been presented to His Excellency the Governor-General, pursuant to section 12 of the Municipal Corporations Act 1954, praying that the area described in the Schedule hereto be excluded from the County of Lake and included in the Borough of Queenstown. All persons affected, who object to the proposed alteration of boundaries, are hereby called upon to lodge any objections to, or petitions against, the proposed alteration with the Minister of Local Government, Wellington, within 1 month from the date of publication of this notice.
SCHEDULE
ALL that parcel of land containing 61.7805 hectares adjoining the Borough of Queenstown, including all those residences in Robin Road, Hamilton Road, Fryer Street, Huff Street, Sawmill Road, Bowen Street, and Gorge Road.

The Traffic (Masterton Borough and Masterton County) Notice No. 1, 1973
PURSUANT to the Transport Act 1962, the Minister of Transport hereby gives the following notice.
NOTICE

This notice may be cited as the Traffic (Masterton Borough and Masterton County) Notice No. 1, 1973.

The roads specified in the First Schedule hereto are hereby excluded from the limitation as to speed imposed by section 52 of the Transport Act 1962.

The roads specified in the Second Schedule hereto are hereby declared to be limited speed zones for the purposes of regulation 27 of the Traffic Regulations 1956*.

The roads specified in the Third Schedule hereto are hereby declared to be 40-miles-an-hour speed limit areas for the purposes of regulation 27A of the Traffic Regulations 1956*.

The notice under regulation 27 of the Traffic Regulations 1956* dated the 6th day of March 1959†, which relates to Masterton County, is hereby revoked.

The Traffic (Masterton Borough) Notice No. 2, 1972, dated the 12th day of December 1972, under section 52 of the Transport Act 1962 and regulation 27 of the Traffic Regulations 1956*, which relates to Masterton Borough is hereby revoked.
