All persons affected by the execution of the said public work or by the taking of such lands who have any objections to the execution of the said public work or to the taking of the said lands must state their objections in writing, and send the same within 40 days from the first publication of this notice to the Secretary at the office of the Board, 75 Church Street, Timaru.

NELSON CITY COUNCIL
In the matter of the Municipal Corporations Act 1954, and in the matter of the Public Works Act 1928:
NOTICE is hereby given that the Nelson City Council proposes, under the above-mentioned Acts, to execute a certain public work, namely, to provide a parking place, and for the purpose of such public work the land described in the Schedule hereto is required to be taken. All persons affected by the proposal who wish to make any objection to the execution of the said public work or to the taking of the land, not being an objection to the amount or payment of compensation, must state their objections in writing and send same within 40 days from the first publication of this notice to the Town Clerk at the Council Chambers, Trafalgar Street, Nelson. A public hearing of any such objection will be held, unless the objector otherwise requires, and each objector will be advised of the time and place of the hearing.
SCHEDULE
ALL that parcel of land containing twenty-one perches (21 p), more or less, being Lot 5, Deposited Plan 29, and being part Section 173, City of Nelson, and being all the land comprised in certificate of title, Volume 1A, folio 787, Nelson Registry; together with the rights of way appurtenant thereto: (a) over part of the land in certificate of title, Volume 95, folio 90, created by transfer 2327, but subject to transfer 14690; and (b) over Lot 5, Deposited Plan 2218, being part of the land in certificate of title, Volume 92, folio 177.

The New Zealand Gazette is published on Thursday evening of each week, and notices for insertion must be received by the Government Printer before 12 o'clock of the day preceding publication.
Advertisements are charged at the rate of 10c per line. The number of insertions required must be written across the face of the advertisement.
All advertisements should be written on one side of the paper, and signatures, etc., should be written in a legible hand.
NEW ZEALAND STANDARD SPECIFICATIONS
These are not now available from Government Bookshops but may be obtained from the Standards Association of New Zealand, Private Bag, Wellington.
STATUTORY REGULATIONS
Under the Regulations Act 1936, statutory regulations of general legislative force are no longer published in the New Zealand Gazette, but are supplied under any one or more of the following arrangements:
(1) All regulations serially as issued (punched for filing), subscription $12 per calendar year in advance.
(2) Annual volume (including index) bound in buckram, $5 per volume. (Volumes for years 1936–37 and 1939–42 are out of print.)
(3) Separate regulations as issued.
