Land Taken for the Wellington-Napier Railway (Lower Hutt Valley Duplication) at Petone Proclaimed as Street

Pursuant to section 226 of the Public Works Act 1928, the Minister of Railways hereby proclaims as street the land described in the Schedule hereto.

ALL that piece of land described as follows:

2526 Part Sections 4 and 5, Hutt District, being part of the land comprised and described in Gazette, 1925, p. 552, Proclamation No. 1500.

Situated in Block XIII, Belmont Survey District.

As the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked L.O. 262 (S.O. 18659) deposited in the office of the Minister of Railways at Wellington, and thereon coloured orange.

Declaring Additional Land Taken and Land Set Apart for a Government Work, Orepuki-Waiau Railway at Tuatapere, and Not Now Required for That Purpose to be Crown Land

Pursuant to section 35 of the Public Works Act 1928, the Minister of Railways hereby declares the land described in the Schedule hereto to be Crown land, subject to the Land Act 1948, as from the 15th day of October 1973.

1. This notice may be cited as Maori Land Development Notice Rotorua 1973, No. 24.

2. The notice referred to in the First Schedule hereto is hereby amended by omitting all reference to the land described in the Second Schedule hereto.

3. The land described in the Second Schedule hereto is hereby released from Part XXIV of the Maori Affairs Act 1953.
