Land Taken for Street in the City of Dunedin

DENIS BLUNDELL, Governor-General

A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Sir Edward Denis Blundell, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for street and shall vest in the Mayor, Councillors, and Citizens of the City of Dunedin as from the date hereinafter mentioned; and I also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the 15th day of October 1973.

SCHEDULE

OTAGO LAND DISTRICT

ALL those pieces of land situated in the City of Dunedin, described as follows:

Declaring Land in the Wellington Land District, Vested in the Wanganui Education Board as a Site for a School, to be Vested in Her Majesty the Queen

A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to subsection (6) of section 5 of the Education Lands Act 1949, I, Sir Edward Denis Blundell, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto, being an area vested in the Wanganui Education Board as a site for a school, shall be vested in Her Majesty the Queen, freed and discharged from every educational trust affecting the same, but subject to all leases, encumbrances, liens, or easements affecting the same at the date hereof.

SCHEDULE

WELLINGTON LAND DISTRICT—OROUA COUNTY

Lot 2, D.P. 34164, being part Section 12, Block VIII, Rangitoto Survey District: area, 7524 square metres, more or less. All certificate of title, Volume 11B, folio 659.

ORDER IN COUNCIL

At the Government Buildings at Wellington this 1st day of October 1973

Present:

THE HON. W. W. FREER PRESIDING IN COUNCIL

PURSUANT to the Agricultural Pests Destruction Act 1967, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby makes the following order.

ORDER

  1. (1) This order may be cited as the Union of Northern Hawke’s Bay, Hawke’s Bay, and Eastern Hawke’s Bay Pest Destruction Order 1973.

(2) This order shall come into force on the 1st day of October 1973.

  1. The boundaries of the Northern Hawke’s Bay Pest Destruction District (which was constituted by Order in Council on the 24th day of October 1945*), the Hawke’s Bay Pest Destruction District (which was constituted by Order in Council on the 5th day of January 1887), and the Eastern Hawke’s Bay Pest Destruction District (which was constituted by Order in Council on the 10th day of April 1946†) are hereby declared united to form one District. The boundaries of which shall be those specified in the Schedule hereto, and it is hereby further declared that the basis on which the Board for the said District shall first levy its general rate shall be the acreage of the land occupied by the rate-payer.

SCHEDULE

BOUNDARIES OF HAWKE’S BAY PEST DESTRUCTION DISTRICT

THE boundaries of the Hawke’s Bay Pest Destruction District shall be that area of land contained in the following districts:

Northern Hawke’s Bay Pest Destruction District Order, Gazette, 1970, p. 501.

Hawke’s Bay Pest Destruction District Order, Gazette, 1945, p. 1450.

Eastern Hawke’s Bay Pest Destruction District Order, Gazette, 1966, p. 2231.

PURSUANT to section 11 of the Housing Act 1955, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby orders and declares that the access ways described in the Schedule hereto shall, on and after the date of this Order in Council, vest in the Mayor, Councillors, and Citizens of the City of Christchurch and be under the control and management of the Christchurch City Council.

CANTERBURY LAND DISTRICT

ALL those access ways situated in the City of Christchurch described as follows:
