Plant Declared a Noxious Weed Under the Noxious Weeds Act 1950 in the City of Dunedin (No. 564 Ag. 20649A)
PURSUANT to a delegation from the Minister of Agriculture and Fisheries under the Ministry of Agriculture and Fisheries Act 1953, for the purposes of the Noxious Weeds Act 1950, the following special order, made by the Dunedin City Council on the 27th day of August 1973, is hereby published.
SPECIAL ORDER
“THAT pursuant to the powers and authorities vested in it by the Municipal Corporations Act 1954, the Noxious Weeds Act 1950, and every other power and authority enabling it, the Council of the City of Dunedin hereby declares Water-fern (Salvinia, all species) to be a noxious weed in the Dunedin City area.”

Plants Declared Noxious Weeds Under the Noxious Weeds Act 1950 in the County of Taieri (No. 568 Ag. 20649A)
PURSUANT to a delegation from the Minister of Agriculture and Fisheries under the Ministry of Agriculture and Fisheries Act 1953, for the purposes of the Noxious Weeds Act 1950, the following special order, made by the Taieri County Council on the 24th day of August 1973, is hereby published.
SPECIAL ORDER
“That in exercise of the powers conferred on it by section 3 of the Noxious Weeds Act 1950, the Taieri County Council hereby declares that all plants included in the First Schedule of the said Act and any plants added thereto by the Governor-General, in accordance with section 4 of the said Act, to be noxious weeds within the County of Taieri as from 1 September 1973 or the date of inclusion in the First Schedule as the case may be.”

Authorisation Under Section 197 of the Transport Act 1962
PURSUANT to section 197 of the Transport Act 1962, I, Raymond Joseph Polaschek, Secretary for Transport, do authorise those officers of the New Zealand Post Office for the time being holding the appointments listed in the Schedule attached hereto, or those officers acting in that behalf, to issue any certificate certifying to the testing and accuracy of speed measuring devices.

Exempting Golden Bay Bulk Cement Carrying Vehicles From the Waybill Requirement of Section 109A of the Transport Act 1962
PURSUANT to section 109A of the Transport Act 1962, the Secretary for Transport hereby exempts from the requirements of that section vehicles operated by the Golden Bay Cement Group carrying bulk cement throughout the North Island.

Licensing Donald Stanley Hargreaves to Occupy a Site for a Boatshed and Jetty in the Taieri River
PURSUANT to section 162 of the Harbours Act 1950, I, Owen John Conway, of the Ministry of Transport, acting under a delegation authorised by the Minister of Transport pursuant to section 9 of the Ministry of Transport Act 1968, hereby license and permit Donald Stanley Hargreaves (hereinafter called the licensee, which term shall include his administrators, executors, or assigns unless the context requires a different construction) to use and occupy a part of the foreshore and bed of the Taieri River, as shown on plan marked M.D. 10652 and deposited in the office of the Ministry of Transport at Wellington, for the purpose of maintaining thereon a boatshed and jetty as shown on the said plan, such licence to be held and enjoyed by the licensee upon and subject to the terms and conditions set forth in the Schedule hereto.
SCHEDULE
CONDITIONS
(1) This licence is subject to the Foreshore Licence Regulations 1960 and the provisions of those regulations shall, so far as applicable, apply hereto.
(2) The term of the licence shall be 14 years from the 1st day of November 1973.
(3) The premium payable by the licensee shall be six dollars ($6) and the annual sum so payable by the licensee shall be ten dollars ($10); provided always that the Minister may review the annual sum payable at the end of the first year or any subsequent year of the said term.
(4) The licensee shall not at any time leave on the roadside any fish boxes or fish pots or any other gear.
