PURSUANT to section 12 of the Food and Drug Act 1969, the Minister of Health hereby consents to the distribution in New Zealand of the new therapeutic drugs set out in the Schedule hereto.

Notice of Age Groups Appointed by the Minister for the Purpose of the Social Security (Dental Benefits) Regulations 1960

PURSUANT to Regulation 5 of the Social Security (Dental Benefits) Regulations 1960*, I, Robert James Tizard, Minister of Health, hereby appoint as from the 30th day of September 1973 the following age groups for the purposes of the said regulations:

(a) Those persons who, in the last term of the immediately preceding calendar year, were enrolled in any class of a primary or intermediate school or department:

(b) Those persons who, not being persons referred to in paragraph (a) hereof, are for the time being under 16 years of age:

(c) All other persons who are for the time being under 18 years of age, and in respect of whom a family benefit is for the time being payable under section 32 of the Social Security Act 1964 or would be so payable were it not for the provisions of subsection (2) of that section.

The notice of age groups dated the 27th day of January 1947 and published in Gazette, 1947, Vol. I, at page 89 is hereby revoked.

The Motor Vehicle Taxation Regulations Notice No. 2, 1973

PURSUANT to subclause (2) of regulation 3 of the Motor Vehicle Taxation Regulations 1966, the Minister of Transport hereby exempts the following vehicles from the payment of registration and annual licence fees:

Trailers which have been licensed in Class A, pursuant to subclause (1) (b) of regulation 3 of the said regulations, while they are being used for work, free of charge, in connection with any charitable or community purpose.
