PURSUANT to section 32 of the Public Works Act 1928, the Minister of Works hereby declares that, a sufficient agreement to that effect having been entered into, the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for buildings of the General Government from and after the 24th day of September 1973.

Land and Stormwater and Sewage Drainage Easements Over Land Taken for an Automatic Telephone Exchange in the City of Timaru, Subject to a Slope or Batter Right
—
PURSUANT to section 32 of the Public Works Act 1928, the Minister of Works hereby declares that, a sufficient agreement to that effect having been entered into, the land described in the First Schedule hereto is hereby taken for an automatic telephone exchange, subject to a right to form a slope or batter granted by transfer No. 713720, Canterbury Land Registry; and also hereby declares that the stormwater easement described in the Second Schedule hereto is hereby taken for an automatic telephone exchange over the land described in the Third Schedule hereto and the sewage drainage easement described in the Fourth Schedule hereto is hereby taken for an automatic telephone exchange over the land described in the Fifth Schedule hereto; such easements to be held appurtenant to the land described in the First Schedule hereto, from and after the 24th day of September 1973.

SECOND SCHEDULE
CANTERBURY LAND DISTRICT
Description of Stormwater Easement
THE full and free right, liberty, licence, and authority in perpetuity for Her Majesty the Queen to lay, construct, place, reconstruct, inspect, cleanse, repair, renew, and maintain a pipe drain under, along, and across the land described in the Third Schedule hereto and to use the said pipe drain for the unimpeded conveyance of stormwater through the said pipes from the land described in the First Schedule hereto and shall include the full and free right, liberty, licence, privilege, and authority to Her Majesty's servants, agents, and workmen, from time to time and at all times hereafter, to enter upon the land described in the Third Schedule hereto to do such work as may be necessary or desirable for any purpose connected with the said stormwater easement and for the inspection, maintenance, installation, repair, or replacement of the said pipe drain and any associated equipment or fittings, so that the same may at all times be kept in good and efficient working order; such stormwater easement to be held appurtenant to the land described in the First Schedule hereto.

ALL that piece of land containing 2.1534 hectares situated in the City of Timaru, being part Lot 2, D.P. 25411. All certificate of title, Register 12F, folio 550, Canterbury Land Registry. The stormwater easement is more particularly shown by the yellow line marked “centreline proposed stormwater easement” an D.P. 30495.

FOURTH SCHEDULE

Description of Sewage Drainage Easement

ALL that piece of land containing 748 square metres situated in the City of Timaru, being Lot 4, D.P. 30495. All certificate of title, Register 12F, folio 548, Canterbury Land Registry. The sewage drainage easement is more particularly shown by the pecked blue line on D.P. 30495.
