Consent to the Distribution of New Therapeutic Drugs

PURSUANT to section 12 of the Food and Drug Act 1969, the Minister of Health hereby consents to the distribution in New Zealand of the new therapeutic drugs set out in the Schedule hereto.

Exemption from Jurisdiction of State Services Tribunal and of any Single Service Tribunal

PURSUANT to the State Services Remuneration and Conditions of Employment Act 1969, the Minister of State Services hereby excludes from Tribunal jurisdiction the position in the State Services specified in the Schedule hereto, on the grounds that the said position involves substantial responsibility, not only for management but also for formulating and advising on policy, and declares that this position is excluded from Parts II, III, and IV of the State Services Remuneration and Conditions of Employment Act 1969.

The Traffic (Waitemata County) Notice No. 2, 1973

PURSUANT to the Transport Act 1962, the Minister of Transport hereby gives the following notice.

NOTICE

  1. This notice may be cited as the Traffic (Waitemata County) Notice No. 2, 1973.

  2. The Traffic (Waitemata County) Notice No. 1, 1971* is hereby amended by revoking paragraph 4 and substituting the following paragraph:

"4. The Traffic (Waitemata County) Notice No. 4, 1969†, dated the 16th day of September 1969, is hereby revoked."

The Traffic (Paparua County) Notice No. 1, 1973

PURSUANT to the Transport Act 1962, the Minister of Transport hereby gives the following notice.

NOTICE

  1. This notice may be cited as the Traffic (Paparua County) Notice No. 1, 1973.

  2. The roads specified in the First Schedule hereto, or included within the area specified in the First Schedule hereto, are hereby declared to be closely populated localities for the purposes of section 52 of the Transport Act 1962.

  3. The roads specified in the Second Schedule hereto are hereby declared to be 40-miles-an-hour speed limit areas for the purposes of regulation 27A of the Traffic Regulations 1956.

  4. The Traffic notices relating to Halswell County and dated the 25th day of November 1957*, the 30th day of September 1959†, and the 28th day of April 1967‡, and the Traffic (Paparua County) Notice No. 2 dated the 10th day of April 1969§ are hereby revoked.

FIRST SCHEDULE

SITUATED within Paparua County at Halswell, Hoon Hay, and Oaklands:

No. 75 State Highway (Christchurch-Akaroa): (a) (from Templeton’s Road to the south-western boundary of Christchurch City); and (b) (from a point 8 chains measured north-westerly generally along the said highway from Sparks Road to a point 6 chains measured south-westerly along the said highway from Larsens Road).

All that area bounded by a line commencing at a point at the junction of the north-eastern side of Dunbars Road with the north-western side of No. 75 State Highway (Christchurch-Akaroa), thence south-westerly generally along the north-western side of No. 75 State Highway (Christchurch-Akaroa); across Lillian Street to the junction with Nicholls Road; thence west-south-westerly generally along the northern side of Nicholls Road to the north-eastern bank of Nottingham Stream; thence westerly and northerly generally along the said stream to a point in line with the prolongation of the north-eastern side of Checketts Avenue; thence north-easterly generally by a right line to the junction of the north-western side of Hindess Street with the south-western side of Dunbars Road; thence north-easterly generally across Dunbars Road at right angles to its south-western side to its north-eastern side; thence south-easterly generally along the north-eastern side of Dunbars Road to the commencing point. Glovers Road.

Halswell Junction Road (from Sabys Road to the No. 75 State Highway (Christchurch-Akaroa)).

Larsens Road.

Nicholl’s Road.

Paterson Avenue/Kennedys Bush Road (from the No. 75 State Highway (Christchurch-Akaroa) to Glovers Road).

School Road.

Sparks Road: (a) (from a point 5 chains measured south-westerly generally along the said road from Victors Road to the south-western boundary of Christchurch City); and (b) (from the No. 75 State Highway (Christchurch-Akaroa) to a point 5 chains measured north-easterly generally along the said road from the said highway).

Templetons Road.

SECOND SCHEDULE

SITUATED within Paparua County at Halswell and Oaklands:

No. 75 State Highway (Christchurch-Akaroa): (a) (from Dunbars Road to a point 8 chains measured north-westerly generally along the said highway from Sparks Road); and (b) (from a point 6 chains measured south-westerly generally along the said highway from Larsens Road to Candys Road).

Hendersons Road (from the No. 75 State Highway (Christchurch-Akaroa) to a point 15 chains measured south-easterly generally along the said road from Barrowclough Street).

Hyndhope Road.
