Reservation of Land and Vesting in the Gore Borough Council

Pursuant to the Land Act 1948, the Minister of Lands hereby sets apart the land described in the Schedule hereto as a reserve for recreation purposes, and further, pursuant to the Reserves and Domains Act 1953, vests the said reserve in the Mayor, Councillors, and Citizens of the Borough of Gore, in trust, for that purpose.

Resumption of Unformed Road in Block XXII, Invercargill Hundred, Southland County

Pursuant to section 191B of the Counties Act 1956, the Minister of Lands hereby declares that the land described in the Schedule hereto has been transferred to the Crown by the Southland County Council pursuant to the said section 191B and as from the date of this notice the land shall be deemed to be Crown land, subject to the Land Act 1948.

Counties and Islands to be Areas in Which Owners of Cattle Shall Submit Their Cattle for Testing with the Brucellosis Test (Notice No. 530 Ag. 20311)

Pursuant to section 53 of the Animals Act 1967, it is hereby declared that: (a) all those areas specified in the Schedule hereto comprising counties (including all cities, boroughs, and town districts and other areas of land surrounded by or contiguous to such counties) and islands shall be specified areas for compulsory brucellosis testing; and (b) on and from the date specified in the Schedule hereto every owner of cattle in every area so described as often as and in such manner as may be required by the Director-General of Agriculture and Fisheries, shall submit his cattle for brucellosis testing.
