County Hydatids Control District.

The Southland County Council is hereby appointed the
Hydatids Control Authority for the Southland County
Hydatids Control District. -
The Southland County - Gore Borough Hydatids Control
District Order 1972* is hereby revoked.

THE HON. M. A. CONNELLY PRESIDING IN COUNCIL
PURSUANT to the Hydatids Act 1968, His Excellency the
Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent
of the Executive Council, hereby makes the following order.
ORDER
-
(a) This order may be cited as the Waipara Hydatids
Control District Order 1973.
(b) This order shall come into force on the day after
the date of its notification in the Gazette. -
The area comprising the County of Waipara as from
time to time constituted is hereby declared a hydatids control
district to be called the Waipara Hydatids Control District. -
The Waipara County Council is hereby appointed the
Hydatids Control Authority for the Waipara Hydatids
Control District.

Tauranga County Council Appointed to Manage Oropi
Cemetery

PURSUANT to section 23 of the Burial and Cremation Act
1964, I, Sir Edward Denis Blundell, the Governor-General
of New Zealand, hereby appoint the Tauranga County
Council to have the control and management of the Oropi
Cemetery, being the land described in the Schedule hereto,
as from the 31st day of July 1973.

OROPI CEMETERY
ALL that piece of land containing 1 acre 2 roods 31.9 perches,
more or less, being part Allotment 403 and Allotment 745,
Block VII, Otanewainuku Survey District.
As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor-

Masterton County Council Appointed to Manage Mauriceville
Cemetery

more or less, being part Lot 3 of Section 46, Block IV,

and Retirements of Officers of the Royal New Zealand
Navy
PURSUANT to section 35 of the Defence Act 1971, His
Excellency the Governor-General has approved the following
appointments, promotions, extensions, transfers, resignations,
and retirements of officers of the Royal New Zealand Navy:
The appointment of Surgeon Lieutenant Commander Albert
Green, M.B., CH.B., is terminated with effect from 26 May
1973. He reverts to the Retired List.
Lieutenant John Harling Steer: The notice published in
the Gazette, 6 July 1972, No. 55, p. 1387, is cancelled, and
the following substituted:
“Lieutenant Commander John Harling Steer is placed
on the Retired List with effect from 16 June 1972.”
Lieutenant L. G. Leonard to be Lieutenant Commander
with seniority and effect from 25 May 1973.
Lieutenant D. J. Collins to be Lieutenant Commander
with seniority from 8 January 1973 and effect from 19 June
1973.
Lieutenant J. F. Lowen to be temp. Lieutenant Commander
with effect from 6 June 1973.
Lieutenant Roger Owen Cottrell is placed on the Retired
List with effect from 2 June 1973.
The appointment of Lieutenant A. G. Tunnicliffe is extended
to 25 January 1979.

Lieutenant Commander David Longton Crump, V.R.D.,
A.I.C.S., is placed on the Retired List of the RNZNVR
with effect from 1 July 1973.
Lieutenant R. J. Martin, M.A., to be Lieutenant Commander
with seniority and effect from 1 May 1973.
Lieutenant P. H. J. Price, V.R.D., A.A.I.I., to be Lieutenant
Commander with seniority and effect from 1 May 1973.
Lieutenant F. J. Gillon is transferred to the Emergency
List of the RNZNVR with effect from 1 June 1973.
Sub Lieutenant S. M. Duff to be Lieutenant with seniority
and effect from 2 December 1972.
Selwyn Sidney Hadlow to be Chaplain (on prob.) with
seniority from 26 December 1968 and effect from 26 June
1973, and is appointed to the RNZNVR List 1.
Peter Klaas Fouke de Zoete, LITH., to be Chaplain (on
