NOTICE is hereby given that a petition for the winding up of the above-named company by the Supreme Court was, on the 26th day of January 1973, presented to the said Court by RONALD NORMAN WILDING, of Wellington, chef, and that the said petition is directed to be heard before the Court sitting at Wellington on the 21st day of February 1973, at 10 o’clock in the forenoon; and any creditor or contributory of the said company desirous to support or oppose the making of an order on the said petition may appear at the time of hearing in person or by his counsel for that purpose; and a copy of the petition will be furnished by the undersigned to any creditor or contributory of the said company requiring a copy on payment of the regulated charge for the same.

The notice must state the name, address, and description of the person, or, if a firm, the name, address, and description of the firm, and an address for service within 3 miles of the office of the Supreme Court at Wellington, and must be signed by the person or firm, or his or their solicitor (if any), and must be served, or, if posted, must be sent by post in sufficient time to reach the above-named petitioner’s address for service not later than 4 o’clock in the afternoon of the 20th day of February 1973.

WHANGAREI COUNTY COUNCIL

NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND FOR ROAD

NOTICE is hereby given that the Whangarei County Council intends, under the provisions of the Public Works Act 1928, to take the parcels of land described in the Schedule hereunder for road. And notice is hereby further given that a plan showing the parcels of land proposed to be taken is deposited at the office of the said Council situated at Springs Flat, Kamo, and may there be inspected by all persons without fee during ordinary office hours.

Any person affected by the proposed taking and who has an objection thereto, not being an objection as to the amount of compensation, must state his objection in writing and send the same to the County Clerk, Whangarei County Council, P.O. Box 4102, Kamo, so as to reach him not later than 18 March 1973, being 40 days after the first publication of this notice. If any objection is received a public hearing of the same will be held and each objector will be advised of the time and place of such hearing.

THAMES BOROUGH COUNCIL

NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE AN EASEMENT OVER LAND FOR THE PURPOSES OF A PIPELINE

IN the matter of the Municipal Corporations Act 1954, and the Public Works Act 1928:

Notice is hereby given that the Thames Borough Council proposes, under the provisions of the above-mentioned Acts, to take an easement for water works over the lands described in the First and Second Schedules hereto, vesting in the Mayor, Councillors, and Citizens of the Borough of Thames full free right, liberty, and authority and licence in perpetuity to lay, construct, place, remove, reconstruct, cleanse, repair, and maintain a water pipeline and main along and over the land described in the said First Schedule, and to convey water in unimpeded flow through the said pipeline and main and for such purposes by its agents, servants, workmen, employees, and contractors to enter upon and to pass and repass over the land described in the said Second Schedule, with or without horses and vehicles, laden or unladen, and material, machinery, and implements to make on the land described in the said First Schedule any cutting, filling, grades, batters, or trenches, and to reopen any such trenches, and to lay, construct, place, remove, reconstruct, cleanse, repair, or maintain any water pipes and mains or lay, lift, repair, and relay additional pipes and mains, and to do all and singular upon or under the land described in the First and Second Schedules hereto such acts, deeds, matters, or things, as the Thames Borough Council, its agents, servants, workmen, employees, or contractors may consider necessary or desirable for or in anywise in connection with the laying, constructing, placing, removing, reconstructing, cleansing, repairing, and maintaining or use of such water pipes and mains and the transmission of water under, along, and over the land described in the First Schedule hereto. And notice is hereby further given that a plan of the land so affected by the said easement is deposited in the public office of the Town Clerk, the said Council, situated in Mary Street, Thames, and is open for inspection without fee by all persons during ordinary office hours.

All persons affected by the execution of the said public work or by the creation of the said easement who have any objection to the execution of the said public work or to the creation of the said easement, must state their objection in writing, not being an objection to the amount or payment of compensation, and send the same within 40 days from the first publication of this notice to the Town Clerk, at the Council Chambers, Mary Street, Thames.

If any such objection is made, a public hearing of the objection will be held, unless the objector otherwise requires, and each objector will be advised of the time and place of the hearing.
