HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL

PURSUANT to section 35 of the Public Works Act 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby directs the sale of the land described in the Schedule hereto, such land being no longer required for the purpose for which it was acquired.

PURSUANT to section 175 of the Harbours Act 1950, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby authorises the Eastbourne Borough Council to reclaim from Wellington Harbour an area of 2 roods and 6.1 perches, more or less, of Wellington Harbour Board endowment foreshore and Crown land; as shown coloured sepia and orange on plan M.D. 15029 (S.O. 28637) and deposited in the office of the Ministry of Transport at Wellington.

Waihemo County Council Appointed to Manage Macraes’ Cemetery


DENIS BLUNDELL, Governor-General

PURSUANT to section 23 of the Burial and Cremation Act 1964, I, Sir Edward Denis Blundell, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby appoint the Waihemo County Council to have the control and management of Macraes’ Cemetery, being the land described in the Schedule hereto, as from the 31st day of July 1973.

ALL that piece of land containing 11 acres 3 roods 37 perches, more or less, being Section 22, Block I, Highway Survey District.

PURSUANT to the Waterfront Industry Act 1953, the Minister of Labour hereby appoints the following persons to be the Port Conciliation Committee for the Port of Picton for the term of 1 year expiring on the 31st day of May 1974.
