Declaring Land Taken for the Use, Convenience, or Enjoyment of a Road in Block V, Ohinewairua Survey District, Rangitikei County

PURSUANT to section 32 of the Public Works Act 1928, the Minister of Works hereby declares that, a sufficient agreement to that effect having been entered into, the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the use, convenience, or enjoyment of a road from and after the 9th day of July 1973.

The Capital Issues Consent Notice 1973, No. 1

PURSUANT to the Capital Issues (Overseas) Regulations 1965, the Minister of Finance hereby gives the following notice.

NOTICE

1. Title—This notice may be cited as the Capital Issues Consent Notice 1973, No. 1.

2. Consent to borrowing or raising of money in New Zealand by certain companies—Consent is hereby granted to the exercise by any company within the meaning of the Companies Act 1955 that is an overseas person within the meaning of paragraph (c) of regulation 3a (2) of the Capital Issues (Overseas) Regulations 1965*, but which would not be an overseas person if the shares held in the company by any of the companies or insurance offices mentioned in the Schedule hereto were held by persons who are not overseas persons of the following powers, namely:

(a) The power to borrow money in New Zealand;

(b) The power to raise money in New Zealand by the issue, whether in New Zealand or elsewhere, of any shares in the company;

(c) The power to make any call in respect of any shares issued by the company to a person ordinarily resident in New Zealand.

3. Revocation—The notice consenting to the issue of capital by certain companies, dated the 10th day of October 1972†, is hereby revoked.
