Permanent State Forest Land Set Apart as State Forest Park

A PROCLAMATION
Pursuant to section 63A (1) (a) of the Forests Act 1949, I, Sir Edward Denis Blundell, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby set apart the permanent State forest land described in the Schedule hereto as a State forest park and as part of the Coromandel State Forest Park.

SOUTH AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT—AUCKLAND CONSERVANCY—COROMANDEL COUNTY
SECTIONS 9, 10, and 11, Block XV, Coromandel Survey District: area, 2,248 acres 1 rood 27 perches, more or less (S.O. Plan 18764).
As shown on plan N. 44/12 deposited in the Head Office of the New Zealand Forest Service at Wellington.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand, this 25th day of June 1973.

Validating Irregularity in Connection with Street Closing Procedure by the Henderson Borough Council

ORDER IN COUNCIL
At the Government House at Wellington this 2nd day of July 1973

His Excellency the Governor-General in Council
Pursuant to section 407 of the Municipal Corporations Act 1954, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby makes the following order.
ORDER
The procedure adopted by the Henderson Borough Council to stop portions of Thomas and Catherine Streets is hereby validated and declared to have been lawfully executed, notwithstanding that, in the two public notices of the proposal required to be given in terms of clause 2 of the Sixth Schedule to the Municipal Corporations Act 1954 and published in the New Zealand Herald on 23 September 1972 and on 14 October 1972, the date by which any person wishing to object to the proposal was required to lodge any objection at the Council offices was specified, in contravention of the said clause 2, as Friday, 27 October 1972, being a date earlier than 40 days after the publication of the first of such public notices:
Provided that nothing in this order shall be construed as validating the said street stopping procedure if it is invalid on any ground other than failure to comply, as stated herein, with the said clause 2.
