NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND
In the matter of the Municipal Corporations Act 1954 and the Public Works Act 1928:
Notice is hereby given that the Birkenhead Borough Council proposes, under the provisions of the above-mentioned Acts, to execute a certain public work, namely, a new street from Mokoha Road through Mahara Avenue to the intersection of Birkenhead Avenue and Oneva Road in the Borough of Birkenhead, and for the purposes of such public work the lands described in the Schedule hereto are required to be taken.
And notice is hereby further given that a plan of the lands so required to be taken is deposited in the public office of the Town Clerk to the said Council situated at Highbury Corner, Birkenhead, and is open for inspection without fee by all persons during ordinary office hours. All persons affected by the execution of the said public work or by the taking of such lands who have any objections to the execution must state their objections in writing, not being an objection to the amount of payment of compensation, and send the same within 40 days from the first publication of this notice to the Town Clerk, Birkenhead Borough Council, Highbury Corner (P.O. Box 34-001), Birkenhead. If any objection is made in accordance with the provisions of section 22 (d) of the Public Works Act 1928 a public hearing of the objection will be held, unless the objector otherwise requires, and that each objector will be advised of the time and place of the hearing.

NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND
Notice is hereby given that the Waimea County Council proposes, under the provisions of the Public Works Act 1928, and the Counties Act 1956, and all amendments, to execute a public work, namely, the widening of Fendalton Road, and for the purpose of such public work the land described in the Schedule hereto is required to be taken, and notice is hereby further given that a plan of the land so required to be taken is deposited in the office of the Waimea County Council, corner of Jeffreys and Clyde Roads, Christchurch, and is there open for inspection during ordinary office hours. All persons affected by the execution of the said public work or by the taking of the said land should, if they have any objections to the execution of the said public work or to the taking of the said land, not being objections to the amount or payment of compensation, set forth such objection in writing and send the same within 40 days of the first publication of this notice to the Waimea County Council, Private Bag, Fendalton, Christchurch. NOTICE OF PRIVATE BILL
In the matter of the Standing Orders of the House of Representatives relating to Private Bills and in the matter of a Private Bill intituled “An Act to make lawful the intended marriage between Brian Edward Blomfield and Janine Shirley Kohi”.
Notice is hereby given that Brian Edward Blomfield, of Invercargill, smelter employee, and Janine Shirley Kohi, of Invercargill, widow, intend to apply for leave to bring into the House of Representatives at the ensuing session a Private Bill intituled as above.
The objects of the Bill are to make lawful the intended marriage between Brian Edward Blomfield and Janine Shirley Kohi.
