Land Proclaimed as Road, Road Closed, and Land Taken
in Blocks III and VII, Tahomaite Survey District, Dannevirke County

Pursuant to section 29 of the Public Works Amendment Act 1948, the Minister of Works hereby proclaims as road the land described in the First Schedule hereto which land shall vest in the Chairman, Councillors, and Inhabitants of the County of Dannevirke; also hereby proclaims as closed the road described in the Second Schedule hereto, and hereby takes the land described in the Third Schedule hereto for the purposes of subsection (6) of the said section 29; also proclaims that the road first and secondly described in the said Second Schedule, when so closed, and the land first described in the said Third Schedule, when so taken, shall vest in Douglas James Munro Riddell, of Pongaroa, sheepfarmer, and Nola Marion Riddell, his wife, subject to memorandum of mortgage No. 176698, Hawke’s Bay Land Registry; also proclaims that the road thirdly described in the said Second Schedule, when so closed, and the land secondly and thirdly described in the said Third Schedule, when so taken, shall vest in Gustave James Alan Gunderson, of Dannevirke, farmer; also proclaims that the road fourthly described in the said Second Schedule, when so closed, and the land fourthly described in the said Third Schedule, when so taken, shall vest in Selwyn Edric Gimblett, of Dannevirke, farmer, and Shirley Joan Gimblett, his wife, as tenants in common in equal shares, subject to memorandum of mortgage No. 260971, Hawke’s Bay Land Registry; also proclaims that the road fifthly described in the said Second Schedule, when so closed, and the land fifthly described in the said Third Schedule, when so taken, shall vest in Harry Dardanell Frederickson, of Dannevirke, farmer.

Pursuant to section 29 of the Public Works Amendment Act 1948, the Minister of Works hereby proclaims as road the land described in the First Schedule hereto, which land shall vest in the Chairman, Councillors, and Inhabitants of the County of Southland; also hereby proclaims as closed the road described in the Second Schedule hereto, and declares that the road first, secondly, and thirdly described in the said Second Schedule shall, when so closed, vest in William Alexander Horton, of Hedgehope, farmer, subject to memoranda of mortgage No. 189558 and 216634, Southland Land Registry; also declares that the road fourthly to seventhly (inclusive) described in the said Second Schedule shall, when so closed, vest in Noel Pavitt Clark and Boyd Pavitt Clark, both of Hokonui, farmers, as tenants-in-common in equal shares, subject to memoranda of mortgage No. 183776 and 255867, Southland Land Registry; also declares that the road lastly described in the said Second Schedule shall, when so closed, vest in Don Horner Hamilton, of Hedgehope, farmer, subject to memoranda of mortgage No. 211782 and 226703, Southland Land Registry; also hereby takes the land described in the Third Schedule hereto for the purposes of subsection (6) of the said section 29, and declares that the land described in the said Third Schedule shall, when so taken, vest in William Alexander Horton, aforesaid, subject to memoranda of mortgage No. 189558 and 216634, Southland Land Registry.
