PURSUANT to section 32 of the Public Works Act 1928, the Minister of Works hereby declares that, sufficient agreements to that effect having been entered into, the land described in the First Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the generation of electricity; and the leasehold estate in the land described in the Second Schedule hereto, held from Her Majesty the Queen by Pukaki Services (1970) Ltd., a duly incorporated company having its registered office at Timaru, under and by virtue of lease No. S. 136 recorded in Register 4C, folio 1236, Canterbury Land Registry, is hereby taken for the generation of electricity from and after the 25th day of June 1973.
