Declaring Land in Canterbury Land District, Vested in the
Canterbury Education Board as a Site for a School, to be
Vested in Her Majesty the Queen

A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to subsection (6) of section 5 of the Education
Lands Act 1949, I, Sir Edward Denis Blundell, the Governor-
General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that
the land described in the Schedule hereto, being an area
vested in the Canterbury Education Board as a site for a
school, shall be vested in Her Majesty the Queen, freed and
discharged from every educational trust affecting the
same, but subject to all leases, encumbrances, liens, or ease-
ments affecting the same at the date hereof.

CANTERBURY LAND DISTRICT—GERALDINE COUNTY

PART Rural Section 20335 situated in Blocks I and V,
Geraldine Survey District: area, 2.0133 hectares, more or
less. All certificate of title, Volume 46, folio 236 (Plan
T. 11230M).

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-
General, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand,
this 26th day of May 1973.

A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to subsection (6) of section 5 of the Education

school, shall be vested in Her Majesty the Queen, freed and

Revoking the Vesting of Land in the Alexandra Borough
Council for Tree-Planting Purposes

ORDER IN COUNCIL

At the Government House at Wellington this 28th day
of May 1973

Present:

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL

WHEREAS, by an Order in Council dated the 29th day of
January 1929 and published in Gazette, 7 February 1929,
Vol. I, p. 352, an area of Crown land was vested, subject to
the conditions set forth in the said Order in Council, in the
Mayor, Councillors, and Burgesses of the Borough of
Alexandra for tree-planting purposes pursuant to section 20
of the Land Laws Amendment Act 1926:

And whereby it is expedient that the aforesaid Order in
Council should be revoked in so far as it relates to the land
described in the Schedule hereto:

And whereas the said Alexandra Borough Council has duly
consented to such revocation:

Now, therefore, pursuant to subsection 2 of section 20 of the
Land Laws Amendment Act 1926, and of every other power
and authority enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the
Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent
of the Executive Council, hereby revokes the aforesaid Order
in Council dated the 29th day of January 1929, in so far as it
relates to the land described in the Schedule hereto.
