NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND FOR STREET
NOTICE is hereby given that the Marton Borough Council proposes, under the provisions of the Public Works Act 1928 and its amendments, to execute a certain public work, namely, the acquisition of land for street, and for the purposes of that public work the land described in the Schedule hereto is required to be taken.

And notice is hereby further given that the plan showing the land so required to be taken is deposited in the offices of the Marton Borough Council, High Street, Marton, and is there open for inspection, without fee, during ordinary office hours.

All persons affected by the execution of the said public work or by the taking of the said land should, if they have any objection to the execution of the said public work or to the taking of the said land, not being objections to the amount or payment of compensation, set forth the same in writing and send the written objection within 40 days of the first publication of this notice to the Town Clerk, Marton Borough Council, at the above address.

If any objection is made in accordance with this notice, a public hearing of the objection will be held, unless the objector otherwise requires, and each objector will be advised of the time and place of the hearing.

SCHEDULE
ALL those pieces of land being unformed parts of Lyon Street, Marton (south of Beaven Street), situated in Block III, Rangitoto Survey District, being parts section 15, Rangitikei Agricultural Reserve, and being parts of the land comprised in deeds index 8/514 (Wellington Registry) containing:

1177 square metres, more or less, marked “A” on Survey Office Plan No. 30007.

1836 squares metres, more or less, marked “B” on Survey Office Plan No. 30007.
