Resumption of Land for Mount Aspiring National Park

DENIS BLUNDELL, Governor-General
A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to section 117 of the Land Act 1948, I, Sir Edward Denis Blundell, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that possession of the land described in the Schedule hereto, being part of the land comprised in a pastoral lease lodged in the office of the District Land Registrar, Dunedin, as Volume 338, folio 105, is hereby resumed on the date of this Proclamation, and this lease shall on and from that date be determined in so far as it relates to the land described in that Schedule.

SCHEDULE
OTAGO LAND DISTRICT—LAKE COUNTY

ALL that area in the Otago Land District, Lake County, containing 9250 hectares, more or less, bounded by a line commencing at the northernmost corner of Run 752, Forbes Survey District, on the Forbes Mountains, and proceeding south-westerly along the north-western boundary of Run 752 aforesaid, to the left bank of the Rees River; thence generally south-westerly along the left bank of that river to a point due east of the intersection of the right bank of the Hunter Stream with the right bank of the Rees River; thence due west to the said intersection; thence generally north-westerly along the right bank of the Hunter Stream to the northernmost corner of a River Bank Reserve on the right bank of the Rees River; thence generally southerly along the generally western boundary of the said River Bank Reserve to the bush edge; thence generally south-westerly along the bush edge to a point on a right line between Mount Clarke, on the Forbes Mountains, and the intersection of a line due east of Black Peak with an unnamed stream in Earnslaw Survey District; thence south-westerly along that right line to the said intersection; thence due west through Black Peak to the edge of a cirque forming the head of the Earnslaw Burn; thence generally south-westerly along that edge to its southernmost point; thence by a right line south-westerly to Turret Head, situated in Block V, Dart Survey District; thence generally south-easterly along the summit of an unnamed ridge between the Dart River and the Earnslaw Burn, to the bush edge in the vicinity of Trig 4, situated in Block IX, Earnslaw Survey District; thence generally north-westerly and northerly along that bush edge to a point due west of Cerberus, situated in Humboldt Survey District; thence due east to Cerberus; thence generally north-easterly along the summit of Forbes Mountains via Head Peak, Mount Head, Moira Peak, Ellie Peak, Osonzac Twins, Pyramid Col, Mount Clarke, and Mount Cunningham, to the point of commencement.

Declaring Land in Southland Land District, Vested in the Southland Education Board as a Site for a School, to be Vested in Her Majesty the Queen

A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to subsection (6) of section 5 of the Education Lands Act 1949, I, Sir Edward Denis Blundell, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto, being an area vested in the Southland Education Board as a site for a school, shall be vested in Her Majesty the Queen, freed and discharged from every educational trust affecting the same, but subject to all leases, encumbrances, liens, or easements affecting the same at the date hereof.

SOUTHLAND LAND DISTRICT—SOUTHLAND COUNTY

Lot 1, D.P. 2977, being part Section 8, Block IV, Otara Survey District: area, 4047 m², more or less. All certificate of title, Volume 140, folio 272. Also Section 23, Block IV, Otara Survey District: area, 1.2141 hectares, more or less. All certificate of title, Volume 200, folio 159.
