COUNTY OF WAITEMATA

NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1948 and the Counties
Act 1956 and amendments, the Waitemata County Council
proposes to execute a certain public work, namely, the
provision of a recreation ground on the property of Antony
Ivan Anich and Darinka Anich, adjoining the extension of
Zita Maria Drive, Massey; and for the purposes of such
work the land in the Schedule hereto is required to be
taken. A plan of the land so required is deposited in the
Council Offices at 68-70 Greys Avenue, Auckland, and at

the District Office, Te Atatu, where it is open for inspection
during ordinary office hours. All persons affected by the
proposal who wish to make any objection to the execution
of the said public work or to the taking of the land,
not being an objection to the amount or payment of compensation, shall set forth such objection in writing and send
the written objection so as to reach the County Clerk,
Waitemata County Council, Greys Avenue, Auckland 1, on
or before Friday, 15 June 1973. A public hearing of any
such objection will be held, unless the objector otherwise
requires, and each objector will be advised of the time and
the place of the hearing.

ALL the land situated in the County of Waitemata containing 5 acres 1 rood 33.1 perches (2.2083 hectares), being
part Lot 32, D.P. 62300, and being part Allotment 5A and

NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND

IN the matter of the Municipal Corporations Act 1954
and its amendments, and of the Public Works Act 1928
and its amendments:

Notice is hereby given that the Manukau City Council
proposes, under the provisions of the above-mentioned Acts,
to execute a certain public work, namely, the construction
and widening of street in Harris Road and Smales Road,
and for that public work the land described in the Schedule
hereto is required to be taken.

A plan of the land so required to be taken is deposited
in the public office of the said Council at Hill Road,
Manurewa, and is open for inspection, without fee, by
all persons during ordinary office hours.

Every person affected by the execution of the said public
work or the taking of the said land is called upon to
set forth in writing any objections he may wish to make
to the execution of the said work or to the taking of
the said land, not being an objection as to the amount
or payment of compensation, and to send such written
objection within 40 days of the first publication of this
notice to the Manukau City Council, Private Bag, Manurewa.

If any such objection is made, a public hearing of the
objection will be held, unless the objector otherwise requires,
and each objector will be advised of the time and place
of the hearing. At the hearing of any objection the objector
shall be advised of the reasons for the proposed taking.
