Station YO, Telescope Hill, over Pyke Saddle to Trig. Station YQ, Mount Beck, a peak on the summit of the McKenzie Range; thence south-westerly generally along the summit of the said range to the point of commencement. As shown on the plan marked N.Z.E.D. 849 deposited in the office of the New Zealand Electricity Department at Wellington, and thereon bordered red.

  1. All that area in the Nelson Land District, Inangahua County, bounded by a line commencing at the south-eastern corner of Block III, Waitahu Survey District, and proceeding northerly along the eastern boundaries of the said Block III, Blocks XV, XI, VII, and III, Reef ton Survey District, and Blocks XIII, IX, and V, Inangahua Survey District, to the southwestern boundary of the Buller County as described in Gazette, 1922, p. 231; thence south-easterly along that boundary to the summit of the Brunner Range; thence generally southerly along the summit of that range passing through Mount Curtis, Mount Wynn, and Mount Pelion to the western boundary of Block II, Burnett Survey District; thence southerly along the western boundaries of the said Block II, Blocks VI, X, and XIV, Burnett Survey District, Blocks II, VI, X, and XIV, Rahu Survey District, and Block II, Lewis Survey District, to the summit of the range between Mount Alexander and Mount Haast; thence north-westerly along that range to Mount Haast; thence south-westerly along a right line to the confluence of Snow Creek with the Grey River; thence generally westerly down the middle of that river to the eastern boundary of Block I, Pohaturoa Survey District; thence northerly along the eastern boundaries of the said Block I and Blocks XIII, IX, and V, Waitahu District, to the north-eastern corner of the said Block V, thence easterly along the southern boundaries of Blocks, I, II, and III, Waitahu Survey District, to the point of commencement. As shown on plan numbered 868 deposited in the Head Office of the New Zealand Electricity Department at Wellington, and thereon bordered brown.

  2. All that area in the Nelson Land District, Buller County, bounded by a line commencing at the intersection of the middle line of the Buller River with the northern boundary of Block VI, Inangahua Survey District, and proceeding northerly up the middle of that river to a point in line with the southern boundary of Section 10, Block III, Inangahua Survey District; thence westerly to and along that boundary and the southern boundary of Section 8, Block III aforesaid, to its westernmost point; thence generally northerly and easterly along the western and northern boundaries of the said Section 8, the western boundary of Section II, Block XVI, Orikaka Survey District, that boundary produced to the northern side of a public road along the northern bank of Pensini Creek, again along the western boundary of the said Section II, the western and northern boundaries of Section 15, Block XVI aforesaid, the western and northern boundaries of Section 2, Block XVI aforesaid, and the last-mentioned boundary produced to the middle of New Creek, thence northerly up the middle of New Creek to a point in line with the northern boundary of Section 17, Block XVI, Orikaka Survey District; thence easterly to and along that boundary to its easternmost point; thence generally southerly along the eastern and southern boundaries of the said Section 17 and the eastern boundaries of Section 16 and 13, Block XVI aforesaid, to the southernmost corner of the said Section 13, thence easterly along a right line to the northernmost corner of Section 9, Square 139, situated in Block XIII, Lyell Survey District; again easterly along the northern boundaries of the said Section 9 and Scenic Reserve No. 5 (in red) to its easternmost point; thence southerly along the eastern boundary of the said scenic reserve to the northern boundary of Block I, Maruia Survey District; thence easterly along the northern boundaries of the said Block I and Block II, Maruia Survey District, to a spur near the mouth of the Eight Mile or Boundary Creek and being a point on the

eastern boundary of the Buller County as described in Gazette, 1922, p. 231; thence southerly, south-westerly, and north-westerly along the eastern, south-eastern, and south-western boundaries of the said county to the eastern boundary of Block X, Inangahua Survey District; thence northerly along the eastern boundaries of the said Block X and Block VI, Inangahua Survey District, to the north-eastern corner of the last-mentioned Block; thence westerly along the northern boundary of the said Block VI to the point of commencement. As shown on plan No. 867 deposited in the Head Office of the New Zealand Electricity Department at Wellington and thereon bordered red.

ALL that area in the Nelson Land District being portion of the Buller County and all of the Borough of Westport, bounded by a line commencing at a point on the sea coast being the south-western corner of Section 15, Block V, Brighton Survey District, and proceeding generally north-westerly along the sea coast crossing the mouths of all harbours and inlets to the middle of the mouth of the Kahurangi River, thence generally south-easterly up the middle of that river and its northern branch to the summit of the Saxon Ridge; thence generally south-easterly and south-westerly along the summit of the Saxon Ridge and Tubman, Gouland, Peel, Arthur, Matiri, and Lyell Ranges passing through Mount Teddy, Mount Domett, Aorere Peak, Tableland, Mount Arthur, Mount Gomorrah, Wangapeka Saddle, and Nugget Knob to Bald Hill; thence generally southerly along the summit of a spur running to the mouth of Eight Mile or Boundary Creek to the intersection of the summit of that spur with the northern boundary of Block II, Maruia Survey District; thence westerly along the northern boundary of the said Block II and Block I, Maruia Survey District, to the eastern boundary of Scenic Reserve No. 5 (in red); thence northerly along the eastern boundary of the said scenic reserve to its northernmost point; thence westerly along the northern boundaries of the said scenic reserve and Section 9, Square 139, situated in Block XIII, Lyell Survey District, to its north-western corner; again westerly along a right line to the southernmost corner of Section 13, Block XVI, Orikaka Survey District; thence generally northerly along the eastern boundary of the said Section 13, the eastern boundary of Section 16, and the southern and eastern boundaries of Section 17, Block XVI aforesaid, to the north-eastern corner of the said Section 17; thence westerly along the northern boundary of the said Section 17 and that boundary produced to the middle of New Creek; thence southerly down the middle of New Creek to a point in line with the northern boundary of Section 2, Block XVI aforesaid; thence westerly to and along that boundary to its westernmost point; thence generally southerly along the western boundary of the said Section 2, the northern and western boundaries of Section 15, Block XVI aforesaid, the western boundary of Section 11, Block XVI aforesaid, and the northern and western boundaries of Section 8, Block III, Inangahua Survey District, to its south-western corner; thence generally easterly along the southern boundaries of the said Section 8 and Section 10, Block III aforesaid, and the last-mentioned boundary produced to the middle of the Buller River; thence generally south-westerly down the middle of that river to the northern boundary of Block VI, Inangahua Survey District; thence westerly along the northern boundaries of the said Block VI and Blocks V and IV, Inangahua Survey District, to the middle of the Buller River; thence south-westerly down the middle of that river to a point in line with the western boundary of Section 1, Block VIII, Ohika Survey District; thence southerly to and along that boundary to the south-western corner of the said Section 1; thence generally easterly along the southern boundary of the said Section 1 and the western and southern boundaries of Section 54, Block VIII aforesaid, and the last-mentioned boundary produced to the eastern boundary of Block VIII, Ohika Survey District; thence southerly along the eastern boundary of the said Block VIII to Trig. Station BB, Berlins Bluff; thence generally south-westerly along the summit of the Paparoa Range passing through Mount Uriah and Mount Priestly to the northern boundary of Block XII, Brighton Survey District; thence westerly along the northern boundaries of the said Block XII, and Blocks XI, X, and IX, Brighton Survey District, to the point of commencement. As shown on plan numbered 872 deposited in the Head Office of the New Zealand Electricity Department at Wellington, and thereon bordered red.
