OTOROHANGA COUNTY COUNCIL
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
Rural Housing Loan 1972, $200,000

PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Otorohanga County Council hereby resolves as follows:

“That for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of $200,000 authorised to be raised by the Otorohanga County Council under the above-mentioned Act, for the purpose of making advances to farmers in terms of the Rural Housing Act 1939, the said Otorohanga County Council hereby makes a special rate of 0.07953c in the dollar upon the rateable value (on the basis of the unimproved value) of all rateable property in the County of Otorohanga; and that the special rate be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable yearly on the 1st day of August in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of 35 years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”

I hereby certify that the above resolution was duly passed at a meeting of the Otorohanga County Council held on the 7th day of February 1973.

WAIROA BOROUGH COUNCIL
WATERWORKS ADDITIONAL EXTENSION LOAN 1972, $30,000

PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Wairoa County Council hereby resolves as follows:

That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of $30,000 authorised to be raised by the Wairoa Borough Council under the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956 and regulations thereunder, and of all other powers in that behalf enabling it, for the purpose of the extension and modification of the water treatment station, plant, and equipment, at Frasertown, the said Wairoa Borough Council hereby makes a special rate of decimal nought eight seven cents (0.087c) in the dollar on the unimproved value of all rateable property in the Wairoa Borough, comprising the whole of the Borough, and that the special rate shall be an annual recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable yearly on the 1st day of November in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of 25 years, or until the loan is fully paid off.

Certified a true copy of a resolution passed at a meeting of the Wairoa Borough Council on the 26th day of February 1973.

HAWKE’S BAY CATCHMENT BOARD
NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND

NOTICE is hereby given that the Hawke’s Bay Catchment Board proposes to take, under the provisions of the Public Works Act 1928 for purposes of the Tuki Tuki River Flood Control, the land described in the Schedule hereto.

And notice is hereby given that a plan of the land so required to be taken is deposited in the public office of the Hawke’s Bay Catchment Board situated in Vautier Street, Napier, and is open for inspection without fee by all persons during ordinary office hours.

All persons affected by the execution of the said public work or by the taking of such land should, if they have any objection to the execution of the said public work or to the taking of the said land, not being objections to the amount or payment of compensation, set forth the same in writing and send the written objection within 40 days of the first publication of this notice to the said Catchment Board at its office aforesaid, and that if any objection is made in accordance with this notice a public hearing of the objection will be held, unless the objector otherwise requires, and each objector will be advised of the time and place of the hearing.

WELLINGTON CITY COUNCIL
NOTICE OF INTENTION TO CHANGE THE PURPOSE FOR WHICH LAND WAS ACQUIRED

IN the matter of section 20 of the Public Works Amendment Act 1952:

Notice is hereby given that the Wellington City Council proposes, under the provisions of the above-named Act and all other Acts, powers, and authorities enabling it in that behalf, to change the purpose for which the land described in the Schedule hereto was acquired (namely for the purposes of a pleasure ground) to some other purpose (namely for street).

And notice is hereby further given that a plan of the said land is deposited in the public office of the Town Clerk to the said Council in the Municipal Office Building, 5 Mercer Street, in the said city, and is there open for inspection without fee by all persons during ordinary office hours and that all persons affected by the proposed change of purpose should, if they have any objections to the proposed change of purpose, set forth the same in writing and send such objection within 40 days from the publication of this notice to the Wellington City Council addressed to the Town Clerk at his said office.

SCHEDULE

ALL those parcels of land containing 1 acre 1 rood 10.6 perches and 15 perches respectively, being parts of Section 2, Kaiwharawhara District, situated in Block VI, Port Nicholson Survey District, and being parts of the land comprised and described in certificate of title, Volume 314, folio 128, as the said parcels of land are more particularly delineated on a plan lodged in the office of the Chief Surveyor at Wellington under No. 28427, and thereon coloured sepia.
