BOROUGH OF TE KUITI
NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND
IN the matter of sections 25 and 27 of the Health Act 1956,
and in the matter of section 25 of the Public Works Act
1928:
NOTICE is hereby given that the Te Kuiti Borough Council
proposes, under the provisions of the above-mentioned Acts,
to execute certain public works, namely, the erection and
establishment of a sewerage treatment station and oxidation
ponds on the lands described in the Schedule hereto, and for
the purpose of such public works the said lands are and will
require to be taken by the said Corporation, under the
provisions of the above Acts, and notice is further given
that a full and legal description of the lands so required
is deposited in the offices of Low, Chapman, and Carter,
Solicitors, King Street, Te Kuiti, and is open for inspection
without fee during the office hours.
All persons affected by the execution of the said public
works or by the taking of such land who have any well-
grounded objections thereto must state their objections in
writing and send their objections within 40 days from the
first publication of this notice to the said solicitors, Low,
Chapman, and Carter, King Street, Te Kuiti.
SCHEDULE
(i) All that parcel of land containing 1360 square metres,
being Lot A on Survey Office Plan 47310, Hamilton Registry,
and being part of the Block created by partition order of
the Maori Land Court, dated the 15th day of February 1973,
called Te Kumi A21A.
(ii) All that parcel of land containing 4980 square metres,
being Lot E on Survey Office Plan 47310, Hamilton Registry,
and being part of the Block created by consolidation order
of the Maori Land Court, dated the 10th day of November
1936, called Te Kumi A29.
Both the said parcels of land are situated off Te Kumi
Station Road near Te Kuiti.

WAIMEA COUNTY COUNCIL
NOTICE OF PROPOSAL TO TAKE LAND FOR PUBLIC WORKS
Wakefield Water Supply Well Site
PURSUANT to section 22 of the Public Works Act 1928, public
notice is hereby given that it is proposed to take certain lands
as described in the Schedule hereto, situated at Pigeon Valley
Road, Wakefield, in the County of Waimea, for public works,
namely, for road, for water supply and for severance and
that a plan showing a general description of the works pro-
posed to be executed and of the lands required to be taken
is deposited in the County Clerk's office, 189 Queen Street,
Richmond, and may be inspected there without fee during
office hours.
And notice is hereby given that all persons objecting to
the proposal must lodge their objections in writing at the
Council Chambers of the Waimea County Council, 189 Queen
Street, Richmond, on or before the 17th day of January 1974,
being (forty) 40 days from the date of the first publication of
this notice.

Waimea South, Block XII, Wai-iti S.D.

WHAKATANE COUNTY COUNCIL
NOTICE is hereby given that the Whakatane County Council
intends, under the provisions of the Public Works Act 1928,
to execute a certain public work, namely, the construction
of a road, and for the purpose of such work intends to
take the land described in the Schedule hereto. And notice
is further given that a plan showing the land proposed to
be so taken is deposited at the office of the Council situated
at The Strand, Whakatane, and may there be inspected with-
out fee by all persons during ordinary office hours. All persons
affected by the execution of the proposed work or by the
taking of the said land and who have an objection to the
same, not being an objection as to the amount of payment of
compensation, must state their objection in writing and send
the same to the Secretary, Town and Country Planning Appeal
Board, Wellington, so as to reach him within 40 days from
the first publication of this notice. If any objection is received
a public hearing of the same will be held and each objector
will be advised of the time and place of such hearing.

LINCOLN COLLEGE
ELECTIONS 1973
I hereby give public notice of the result of the annual election
held on Monday, 3 December 1973, to fill two vacancies on
the Council of Lincoln College.
One member, not being in the employment of the Lincoln
College Council, to be elected by the graduates of the
University of New Zealand, and of the University of Canter-
bury, whose names are on the books of the college, the holders
of diplomas granted by the college, and such other persons
and classes of persons who have completed courses extending
over not less than one academic year:
Elliott, Ivor Lewis (unopposed).
I hereby declare Mr I. L. Elliott to be a duly elected
member of the Lincoln College Council for a period of 3
years commencing on the 1st day of January 1974.
One member, being a member of the Professorial Board,
to be elected by the lecturers of the college who are not
members of the Professorial Board:
Langer, Reinhart Hugo Michael (unopposed).
I hereby declare Professor R. H. M. Langer to be a duly
elected member of the Lincoln College Council for a period
of 3 years commencing on the first day of January 1974.
