24. Storage Charges at Christchurch on Goods ex-Ship

  1. Goods discharged ex-ship at Lyttelton and conveyed to Christchurch for delivery will be allowed free storage on the first day they are available for delivery and the following day. After the expiration of this period, storage will be charged at the following rates:

    For the first 4 days, per day or part thereof .. 47c per tonne or 42c per cubic metre.
    Minimum charge 23c per tonne or 21c per cubic metre per day.

    Each succeeding day or part thereof .. 94c per tonne or 84c per cubic metre.
    Minimum charge 47c per tonne or 42c per cubic metre per day.

  2. When goods are stored in the open, storage will be charged at the following rates:

    For the first 4 days, per day or part thereof .. 23c per tonne or 21c per cubic metre.
    Minimum charge 23c per tonne or 21c per cubic metre per day.

    Each succeeding day or part thereof .. 47c per tonne or 42c per cubic metre.
    Minimum charge 47c per tonne or 42c per cubic metre per day.

  3. The charges on ships’ goods, Classes C, D, and G will be computed in accordance with Section 127, General Scale of Charges.
