A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Sir Edward Denis Blundell, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for street and shall vest in the Mayor, Councillors, and Citizens of the Borough of Kaikohe, as from the date hereinafter mentioned; and I also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the 3rd day of December 1973.

A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Sir Edward Denis Blundell, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the First and Second Schedules hereto is hereby taken for road and that the land described in the Third Schedule hereto is hereby taken for waterworks and shall vest in the Chairman, Councillors, and Inhabitants of the County of Whangarei as from the date hereinafter mentioned; also that a right of way easement is hereby taken for waterworks over the land described in the Fourth and Fifth Schedules hereto vesting in the Chairman, Councillors, and Inhabitants of the County of Whangarei (hereinafter referred to as “the Council”) as from the date hereinafter mentioned, the full and free right and liberty for the Council and its agents, servants, workmen, licensees, and invitees (in common with the owners and all other persons lawfully entitled to use the same) from time to time and at all times by day and by night forever hereafter to pass and repass, with or without vehicles, machinery, or implements of any kind, over and along the land described in the said Fourth and Fifth Schedules hereto; also that an easement for drainage purposes is hereby taken over the land described in the Sixth Schedule hereto, vesting in the Council as from the date hereinafter mentioned the full and free right and liberty for the Council and its agents, servants, workmen, and licensees (in common with the owner and all other persons entitled to use the same) from time to time and at all times by day or by night forever hereafter to pass and repass, with or without vehicles, machinery, or implements of any kind necessary for the purpose of constructing or maintaining a drain or drains under and along the land described in the said Sixth Schedule hereto; and I also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect from and after the 3rd day of December 1973.
