MANUKAU CITY COUNCIL
NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND
IN the matter of Municipal Corporations Act 1954 and its
amendments, and of the Public Works Act 1928 and its
amendments:
NOTICE is hereby given that the Manukau City Council
proposes, under the provisions of the above-mentioned Acts,
to execute a certain public work, namely, the widening of
street in Wiri Station Road; and for that public work
the land described in the Schedule hereto is required to
be taken.
Every person affected by the execution of the said public
work or the taking of the said land is called upon to set
forth in writing any objections he may wish to make to
the execution of the said work or to the taking of the
said land, not being an objection as to the amount or pay-
ment of compensation, and to send such written objection
within forty (40) days of the first publication of this notice
to the Manukau City Council, Private Bag, Manurewa.
If any such objection is made a public hearing of the
objector will be held, unless the objector otherwise requires,
and each objector will be advised of the time and place
of the hearing. At the hearing of any objection the objector
shall be advised of the reasons for the proposed taking.
SCHEDULE
ALL that parcel of land containing 1 rood and 4 perches
(1 r 4 p), more or less, situated in the City of Manukau,
being Lot 2 on Deposited Plan 41952, and being part
Clendon's Grant, and being the whole of the land contained
in certificate of title No. 2D/1384, North Auckland Registry.

ROTORUA CITY COUNCIL
NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND
IN the matter of the Public Works Act 1928:
PUBLIC notice is hereby given that the Rotorua City Council
proposes, under the provisions of the above-mentioned Act,
to execute a public work, namely, the provision of recrea-
tion grounds, and for the purposes of that public work
the land described in the Schedule hereto is required to
be taken; and notice is hereby further given that a plan
of the lands so required to be taken is deposited in the
public offices of the said Council at Arawa Street, in the
City of Rotorua, and is open for inspection, without fee,
by all persons during ordinary office hours.
All persons affected must set forth in writing any objection
they wish to make to the execution of the said public work
or to the taking of such lands, not being an objection to
the amount or payment of compensation, and send the
same within forty (40) days from the day of the first
publication of this notice to the Town Clerk of the City
of Rotorua at the office of the Council at Arawa Street,
Rotorua, aforesaid. If any objection is received a public
hearing of the objection will be held, unless the objector
otherwise requires, and each objector will be advised of
the time and place of the hearing.
SCHEDULE
THAT piece of land containing 1 rood and 9 perches (1 r 9 p),
more or less, being the Aratauo 2B Block, and being all
the land comprised and described in certificate of title,
Volume 364, folio 205, South Auckland Registry, and situated
at the mouth of the Utuhine Stream flowing into Lake
Rotorua in Block I, Tarawera Survey District within the
City of Rotorua.

WAIKATO VALLEY AUTHORITY
NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND
PUBLIC notice is hereby given that the Waikato Valley
Authority proposes to execute certain public works, to wit,
soil conservation and river control works; for which purpose
the lands described in the Schedule hereto are required to
be taken under the provisions of sections 22 and 23 of the
Public Works Act 1928.
Plans of the lands required to be taken are open for
inspection at the office of the Taupo County Council, Turangi.
Every person affected who wishes to object to the execution
of the works or to the taking of such lands shall, in writing,
set forth such objections (not being an objection to the
amount of or payment of compensation), and shall send
such written objection to the Secretary, Waikato Valley
Authority, P.O. Box 4010, Hamilton East, within 40 days
from the date of first publication of this notice; if any
objection is made in accordance with this notice a public
hearing of the objection will be held, unless the objector
otherwise requires, at which hearing the objector may appear
before the Authority and support the objection by such
evidence as he thinks fit. Every objector will be notified
of the time and place of such hearing.
