The Traffic (Hastings City) Notice No. 1, 1973
PURSUANT to the Transport Act 1962, the Minister of Transport hereby gives the following notice.
NOTICE
-
This notice may be cited as the Traffic (Hastings City) Notice No. 1, 1973.
-
The road specified in the First Schedule hereto is hereby excluded from the limitation as to speed imposed by section 52 of the Transport Act 1962.
-
The road specified in the Second Schedule hereto is hereby declared to be a 40-miles-an-hour speed limit area for the purposes of regulation 27A of the Traffic Regulations 1956.
FIRST SCHEDULE
SITUATED within Hastings City:
Omahu Road (from a point 60 metres measured north-westerly generally along the said road from Ormond Road to a point 40 metres measured north-westerly generally along Omahu Road from Stonycroft Street).
SECOND SCHEDULE
SITUATED within Hastings City:
Omahu Road (from a point 60 metres measured north-westerly generally along the said road from Ormond Road to a point 40 metres measured north-westerly generally along Omahu Road from Stonycroft Street).

The Traffic (Rangitikei County) Notice No. 2, 1973
PURSUANT to the Transport Act 1962, the Minister of Transport hereby gives the following notice.
NOTICE

This notice may be cited as the Traffic (Rangitikei County) Notice No. 2, 1973.

The roads within the area specified in the Schedule hereto are hereby declared to be closely populated localities for the purposes of section 52 of the Transport Act 1962.
-
The notice under the Transport Act 1949, dated the 25th day of September 1959*, is hereby revoked.
SCHEDULE
SITUATED within Rangitikei County at Bulls:
All that area bounded by a line commencing at a point on the eastern side of No. 1 State Highway (Awanui-Bluff) 100 metres measured southerly generally along the said State highway from Taumaihi Street; thence north-easterly generally by a right line to the eastern end of Watson Street; thence along the northern side of Watson Street to the south-eastern side of the No. 1 State Highway (Awanui-Bluff); thence north-easterly generally along the south-eastern side of the No. 1 State Highway (Awanui-Bluff) to a point 50 metres from Watson Street; thence across the No. 1 State Highway (Awanui-Bluff) at right angles to its south-eastern side to its north-western side; thence by a right line to a point on the No. 3 State Highway (Hamilton-Woodville via New Plymouth) 50 metres measured northerly generally along the said State highway from Howe Street; thence across the No. 3 State Highway (Hamilton-Woodville via New Plymouth) at right angles to its eastern side to its western side; thence northerly, westerly, and south-westerly generally along the boundary of Bulls County Borough to the north-western side of Parewanui Road; thence south-westerly generally along that roadside to a point 60 metres measured south-westerly generally from Taumaihi Street; thence across Parewanui Road at right angles to its north-western side to its south-eastern side; thence due south by a right line to the southern boundary of Bulls County Borough; thence easterly generally by a right line to a point on the western side of No. 1 State Highway (Awanui-Bluff) opposite the commencing point; thence across the said State highway to the commencing point.

The notice under section 52 of the Transport Act 1962 and regulation 27A of the Traffic Regulations 1956, dated the 2nd day of April 1973, is hereby revoked.

No. 1 State Highway (Awanui-Bluff) (from a point 280 metres measured southerly generally along the said State highway from Arawhata Street to a point 360 metres measured southerly generally along the said State highway from the No. 58 State Highway (Haywards-Paremata); and from a point 100 metres measured northerly generally along the No. 1 State Highway (Awanui-Bluff) from James Street (Plimmerton) to a point 60 metres measured southerly generally along the said State highway from Gray Street (Pukerua Bay); and from a point 320 metres measured north-easterly generally along the No. 1 State Highway (Awanui-Bluff) from Pa Road (Pukerua Bay) to the northern boundary of Porirua City).
AT Paremata:
No. 58 State Highway (Haywards-Paremata) (from a point 360 metres measured south-easterly generally along the said State highway from Seaview Road to the eastern boundary of Porirua City).
AT Plimmerton:
Airlie Road (from a point 280 metres measured northerly generally along the said road from Firth Road to the No. 1 State Highway (Awanui-Bluff)).
Grays Road (from a point 640 metres measured easterly generally along the said road from Taupo Crescent to the south-eastern boundary of Porirua City).
AT Tawa:
Takapu Road (from the eastern end of the railway over-bridge over the North Island Main Trunk Railway to the north-eastern end of the said road).
