Reservation of Land
PURSUANT to the Land Act 1948, the Minister of Lands hereby sets apart the land described in the Schedule hereto as a reserve for recreation purposes.

OTAGO LAND DISTRICT—LAKE COUNTY
SECTION 12, Block II, Upper Wakatipu Survey District: area, 12.141 hectares (30 acres), more or less (S.O. 8316).

Reservation of Land and Declaration That Land be Part of the Te Anau Domain
PURSUANT to the Land Act 1948, the Minister of Lands hereby sets apart the land described in the Schedule hereto as a reserve for recreation purposes, and further, pursuant to the Reserves and Domains Act 1953, declares the said reserve to be a public domain, subject to the provisions of Part III of the last-mentioned Act, to form part of the Te Anau Domain to be administered as a public domain by the Domain Board.

SECTION 710, Block I, Manapouri Survey District: area, 33.8924 hectares, more or less (S.O. 7608).

Describing the Boundaries of the Manawatu Combined Abattoir District and Specifying the Feilding Borough Council as the Controlling Authority of the Abattoir (Notice No. 598 Ag. 20002A)
PURSUANT to section 15 (4) of the Meat Act 1964, notice is hereby given as follows:
- The Manawatu Combined Abattoir District shall henceforth comprise—
The City of Palmerston North.
The Borough of Feilding.
The Borough of Marton.
The Borough of Foxton.
The County of Kairanga.
The County of Kiwitea.
The County of Manawatu excluding the Awahau Riding and Beach Riding.
The County of Oroua.
The County of Pohangina.
The area of the Rangitikei County described in the Schedule hereto.
- The Feilding Borough Council shall continue as the controlling authority of the said abattoir district.
SCHEDULE
ALL that portion of the district of the County of Rangitikei constituted as the Bulls County Town by special order of the Council of the said county, pursuant to section 416 of the Counties Act 1956, being also the Bulls Riding of the said county, comprising all that area in the County of Rangitikei bounded by a line commencing at the south-western corner of Lot 50, D.P. 402; thence northerly along the western boundary of that lot, the abutment of a road, and the western boundaries of Lots 44, 40, 39, 38, 37, 36, 35, 34, 33, and 32, D.P. 402, to the south-eastern boundary of Lot 12, Deeds Plan 463; thence south-westerly along that boundary and the south-eastern boundary of Lot 11, Deeds Plan 463, to the southernmost corner of that lot; thence north-westerly along the south-western boundaries of that lot, Lot 9, and part Block II, Rangitikei District, as shown on the said Deeds Plan 463, and Lot 1, Deeds Plan 328, to the south-eastern side of the Scotts Ferry - Bulls Main Highway; thence north-easterly along that highway to a point in line with the north-eastern boundary of Lot 13, D.P. 1753; thence north-westerly to and along that boundary to the northernmost corner of that lot; thence north-easterly generally along the north-western boundary of Lot 2, D.P. 1753, and its production across Johnston Street, along the north-eastern side of that street to and along the north-western and north-eastern boundaries of Lot 1, D.P. 8526, to and along part of the south-eastern and north-eastern boundaries of Lot 1, D.P. 5674, to the southernmost corner of that part of Block III, Rangitikei District, as shown on D.P. 12006, along the south-eastern boundaries of that land to and along the western side of the Wanganui-Levin State Highway to the south-eastern corner of Lot 9, Deeds Plan 57, across the aforesaid highway to the westernmost corner of the land as shown on S.O. Plan 20754; thence easterly along the northern boundaries of that land and Lot 1, D.P. 14199, the southern and south-western boundaries of Lot 1, D.P. 11827, and the production of the last-mentioned boundary across the Waiouru-Bulls State highway; thence north-easterly along the south-eastern side of that highway to the south-western side of the closed road formerly comprised in C.T. 190/125; thence south-westerly along that side of the said closed road and its production to the middle of the Rangitikei River; thence south-westerly down the middle of that river to a point in line with the western boundary of Lot 50, D.P. 402, aforesaid; thence northerly along a right line to the south-western corner of the said Lot 50, being the point of commencement.

Constituting Tokomaru Secondary Urban Fire District
PURSUANT to section 23 of the Fire Services Act 1972, I hereby declare the urban area of Tokomaru (as delineated on plan numbered F.S.C. 1/303/1 and deposited in the office of the Fire Service Council) to be the Tokomaru Secondary Urban Fire District.

New Zealand Racing Conference
IN pursuance and exercise of the power contained in section 101 of the Racing Act 1971 the New Zealand Racing Conference resolves to and does hereby make the following rules controlling the admission of persons to all racecourses used by racing clubs which are now or may at any time hereafter be registered with the said New Zealand Racing Conference:
RULES
(UNDER THE RACING ACT 1971)

These rules shall come into force on the day after the day on which they are published in the New Zealand Gazette.

In these rules the words “racecourse”, “racing club” and “race meeting” shall have the meanings ascribed to those terms respectively by section 2 of the Racing Act 1971 and the word “bookmaker” shall have the meaning ascribed thereto by the Gaming Act 1908 or any subsequent Act consolidating or in substitution of such Act.

The following persons shall be and are hereby excluded from all racecourses used by racing clubs which are now or may at any time hereafter be registered with the New Zealand Racing Conference while such racecourses, or any thereof, are being used by any club for a race meeting, namely:
(a) All persons under disqualification imposed under the New Zealand Rules of Racing or the New Zealand Rules of Trotting or by the racing or trotting authorities in any country outside New Zealand which have reciprocal agreements in matters of racing or trotting with the New Zealand Racing Conference or the New Zealand Trotting Conference;
(b) Bookmakers;
(c) Persons convicted of theft, burglary, receiving stolen goods, robbery, unlawfully taking or conversion of motorcar or other vehicles, false pretences, forgery, uttering, possession of counterfeit coin or assault;
