Decoy limit: 25, 5 May 1973 to 4 June 1973 inclusive, thereafter no limit.
Special Conditions

A licence issued subject to this notification to hunt or kill game shall entitle the holder thereof to hunt or kill game on that portion of the bank and bed of the Rakaia River which lies within the North Canterbury Acclimatisation District, and on that portion of the flood bed of the Rangitata River which lies within the South Canterbury Acclimatisation District, during the period and subject, mutatis mutandis, to the conditions prescribed in this notification fixing the open season for those districts.

A licence issued pursuant to this notification to hunt or kill game shall entitle the holder thereof to hunt or kill game in the South Canterbury Acclimatisation District, during the period and subject, mutatis mutandis, to the conditions prescribed in this notification fixing an open season for game in that district.

No person shall, for the purpose of hunting or killing game, use any fixed stand, pontoon, hide, maimai, or loo on the waters of the Vernon or Wairau Lagoons which lie generally between the mouth of the Wairau River, south to the Vernon Run, and west to the eastern boundary of Swansdown.
