Land Taken for a Regional Reserve in the City of Manukau

A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Sir Edward Denis Blundell, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for a regional reserve and shall vest in the Auckland Regional Authority as from the date hereinafter-mentioned; and I also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the 19th day of February 1973.

SCHEDULE

NORTH AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT

ALL that piece of land containing 289 acres 3 roods 15 perches situated in the City of Manukau, North Auckland R.D., and being part Wharekawa 4B1A Block; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked M.O.W. 26884 (S.O. 47349) deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured yellow.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand, this 8th day of February 1973.

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby directs the sale of the land described in the Schedule hereto, such land being no longer required for the purpose for which it was acquired.

PURSUANT to section 11 of the Housing Act 1955, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby orders and declares that the access ways described in the Schedule hereto shall, on and after the date of this Order in Council, vest in the Mayor, Councillors, and Citizens of the City of Manukau and be under the control and management of the Manukau City Council.
