NEW PLYMOUTH CITY COUNCIL

LAND REQUIRED FOR STREET

IN the matter of section 22 of the Public Works Act 1928:

Public notice is hereby given that the New Plymouth City Council proposes to provide land for the purposes of a street and for such purposes requires to take, in accordance with the provisions of the above-mentioned Act, all that parcel of land described in the Schedule hereto, such parcel of land being shown on the plan deposited at the office of the said Council situated in Liardet Street, New Plymouth, and there open for inspection at all reasonable hours.

Every person affected is required to set forth in writing any objection he may wish to make to the taking of the land (not being an objection to the amount or payment of compensation) and to send the written objection within 40 days from the first publication of the notice to the said Council at its said office. A public hearing of the objection will be held, unless the objector otherwise requires, and each objector will be advised of the time, date, and place of the hearing.

SCHEDULE

ALL that parcel of land containing 1 rood and 3.56 perches, more or less, being Lots 3 and 4, D.P. 5531, and being part of Sections 718 and 719, and part of the bed of the Huatoki Stream, Town of New Plymouth, being all of the land comprised and described in certificate of title, Volume 139, folio 130 (Taranaki Registry), 12 Vivian Street, New Plymouth.

Public Works Act 1928

STEWART ISLAND COUNTY COUNCIL

PURSUANT to Section 22 of the Public Works Act 1928, Stewart Island County Council hereby gives notice of its intention to take, on or after the 26th day of January 1973, the land described in the Schedule hereto for the purpose of constructing thereon a public works, namely, a refuse tip.

Any person affected by the proposed works who wishes to object to the works should set forth such objection in writing and send the same to the office of the Stewart Island County Council on or before the 25th day of January 1973.

A copy of this notice and a plan of the land affected is available for inspection at the office of the Stewart Island County Council during office hours.

SCHEDULE

ALL that piece of land fronting on to Halfmoon Bay, Stewart Island, registered in the name of Richard Seymour, of Halfmoon Bay, fisherman, and being more particularly described as Section 37, Block I, Paterson District, containing an area of 9 acres and 1 rood, more or less, and being the whole of the land comprised and described in certificate of title, Volume 18, folio 44, Southland Registry.

The Public Works Act 1928

WAIMEHO COUNTY COUNCIL

THE Chairman, Councillors and Inhabitants of the County of Waihemo, a body corporate in which is vested those pieces of land containing 17 acres 3 roods 8 poles, being parts of Section 1 of 31 and 2 of 31, Block IV, Moeraki District, more particularly described on Survey Office Plan 9382 and held by the County for a gravel pit, being desirous of having the land set apart as the site for a sewage treatment plant hereby call upon all persons affected by the proposal to set forth in writing any objection to the proposal to change the purpose for which the land is held to that of a sewage treatment plant and to send written objections to the Waihemo County Council within 40 days from the date of the first publication of this notice.

THE CHARITABLE TRUSTS ACT 1957

IN the matter of the Charitable Trusts Act 1957, and in the matter of the will of CHARLES WILLIAM SCHULTZ, late of Ngatea in the Dominion of New Zealand, farmer, deceased: NOTICE is hereby given, pursuant to section 36 of the Charitable Trusts Act 1957, that the Public Trustee as trustee of the above estate, has applied to the Supreme Court at Auckland for approval of a scheme whereby the carrying out of the trusts created by the said will could be facilitated by extending and varying the powers of the trustee under the said will, in particular, granting power to the trustee to purchase additional lands, with power to raise moneys required by way of mortgage and to give security for moneys so raised over the trust assets, and to let or lease any part of the trust assets, to erect and maintain buildings and to farm either alone, in partnership, or under share milking or share farming arrangements and to set up and maintain a reserve fund.

A copy of the said scheme has been deposited in and may be inspected at the Registry of the Supreme Court at Auckland. It is proposed that the application for approval be heard at Auckland on Tuesday, the 27th day of February 1973, at 10 a.m. Any person desiring to oppose the said scheme is required to give written notice of his intention to do so to the Registrar of the said Court, to the Public Trustee, and to the Attorney-General, not less than 7 clear days before the date proposed for hearing of the application.
