NOTICE is hereby given that a petition for the winding up of the above-named company by the Supreme Court was, on the 12th day of December 1972, presented to the said Court by COBUT INDUSTRIES LIMITED, a duly incorporated company having its registered office at 159 Marua Road, Ellerslie. And that the said petition is directed to be heard before the Court sitting at Auckland on the 14th day of February 1973, at 10 o'clock in the forenoon; and any creditor or contributory of the said company desirous to support or oppose the making of an order on the said petition may appear at the time of hearing in person or by his counsel for that purpose; and a copy of the petition will be furnished by the undersigned to any creditor or contributory of the said company requiring a copy on payment of the regulated charge for the same.

BIRKENHEAD BOROUGH COUNCIL

NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND

In the matter of the Municipal Corporations Act 1954, and the Public Works Act 1928:

Notice is hereby given that the Birkenhead Borough Council proposes, under the provisions of the above-mentioned Acts, to execute a certain public work, namely, a new street from Mokoia Road through Mahara Avenue to the intersection of Birkenhead Avenue and Onewa Road in the Borough of Birkenhead, and for the purposes of such public work the lands described in the Schedule hereto are required to be taken.

And notice is hereby further given that a plan of the lands so required to be taken is deposited in the public office of the Town Clerk to the said Council, situate at Highbury Corner, Birkenhead, and is open for inspection without fee by all persons during ordinary office hours. All persons affected by the execution of the said public work or by the taking of such lands who have any objections to the execution of the said public work or to the taking of the said lands (not being an objection to the amount of compensation proposed) must state their objections in writing and send the same within 40 days from the first publication of this notice to the Town Clerk, Birkenhead Borough Council, Highbury Corner (P.O. Box 34001), Birkenhead. If any objection is made in accordance with the provisions of section 22 (d) of the Public Works Act 1928 a public hearing of the objection will be held, unless the objector otherwise requires, and each objector will be advised of the time and place of the hearing.

SCHEDULE

ALL the lessees interest in Shop 1, 54-60 Birkenhead Avenue, Birkenhead, on that piece of land containing 23.4 perches, more or less, being Lot 1, Deposited Plan 61724, and being part Allotment 153, Parish of Takapuna, and being all the land comprised and described in certificate of title, Volume 17C, folio 40 (North Auckland Land Registry), subject to fencing agreement in transfer 59965.

TAUMARUNUI BOROUGH COUNCIL

NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND FOR SERVICE LANE

NOTICE is hereby given that the Taumarunui Borough Council intends, under the provisions of the Public Works Act 1928 and its amendments, to take lands described in the Schedule hereto for service lane. And notice is further given that a plan showing the parcels of land so required to be taken is deposited in the office of the said Council, Huia Street, Taumarunui, and is there for inspection without fee, during normal office hours.

Every person affected by the said taking should set forth in writing any objection he may wish to make to the taking of the said land (not being an objection to the amount or the payment of compensation), and lodge the written objection at the offices of the Taumarunui Borough Council, Huia Street, Taumarunui, within 40 days from the 19th day of December 1972, being the date of the first publication of this notice.

If any objection is made in accordance with this notice a public hearing of the objection will be held, unless the objector otherwise requires, and each objector will be advised of the time and place of the hearing.
