Notice of Intention to Take a Leasehold Estate in Land in Block VI, Hunua Survey District, Taumarunui County, for a Teacher’s Residence
NOTICE is hereby given that it is proposed, under the provisions of the Public Works Act 1928, to take the leasehold estate of George Ernest Overton, of Kakahi, schoolmaster, in the land described in the Schedule hereto, held from Her Majesty the Queen under and by virtue of registered lease No. 19A/169 recorded in certificate of title No. C1/771, Wellington Land Registry, for a teacher’s residence; and notice is hereby further given that the plan of the land so required to be taken is deposited in the post office at Taumarunui and is there open for inspection; that all persons affected by the taking of the said leasehold estate in land should, if they have any objections to the taking of the said leasehold estate in land, not being objections to the amount or payment of compensation, set forth the same in writing and send the written objection within 40 days of the first publication of this notice to the Minister of Works at Wellington; and that if any objection is made in accordance with this notice, a public hearing of the objection will be held, unless the objector otherwise requires, and each objector will be advised of the time and place of the hearing.
