National Roads Board—Notice Declaring State Highway to be
a Limited Access Road
It is notified that the National Roads Board on 15 November
1972 resolved that where as by notification published in
Gazette, No. 61, p. 1973, of 9 October 1969, the declaration
as a limited access road of all that part of State Highway
No. 26 (Hamilton-Kopu) lying between Piraunui Stream
and its intersection with Rutherford Road as more particularly
shown on sheets 4 and 5 of plan M.O.W. 15605, antedated
the legalisation of that said part of State highway No. 26,
and to remove any consequential doubt as to the status of
that said part of State Highway No. 26 as a limited access
road, the National Roads Board, pursuant to section 4 of
the Public Works Amendment Act 1963, hereby declares
that said part to be a limited access road.
